Replace lamp pt 61lcz70
make this steps and fix it. God bless you
- Check the fan. Once the
television is turned off, it is just normal for its fan to become louder.
A projection TV actually depends on its lamp, which requires cooling so
that it will not prematurely burn out. If the room where your TV is placed
is very hot, the fan would also continue to run.
Replace
projection lamp. To properly do this,
make sure that the lamp's bulb has cooled down and the TV is unplugged.
Carefully remove the cover of the lamp's compartment using your screwdriver
(Phillips-head). Unscrew the sealed part of the lamp that can be found at the
television's rear part. Take away the old lamp cartridge and then insert a new
one. Seal the lamp with screws, replace its cover and then screw tightly.

MY PANASONIC PT-61LCZ7 NEEDS A LAMP. I AM IN
part number for the lamp unit is:
LFS4000PA1EB It has a suggested list price of 605 dollars and is not customer replaceable----it also requires TECH approval from Panasonic to order----this is one of the 2007 models with a led type lamp--have to dismantle set to replace--no shops here will do it in the home---lamp wholesales for under 300 but has substantial core charge---they rebuild all these.
I hope this helps you---You can also Google the model number and I think you will find some used ones but no new ones.

My Panasonic PT-61LCZ70 keeps shuting off
Most likely problem is bulb failure. Replacing the bulb is first step in any LCD rear Projection troubleshooting.
PT-61LCZ70 has a special "Super Dooper" long life lamp that costs a ton to replace. US users have 5 year warranty on the lamp assembly. Canada users can whistle for help from Panasonic Canada. There is no replacement bulb available, only expensive lamp assembly.
TV has to be completely taken apart to change the lamp. Panasonic service information is 12+ pages for lamp change instruction.
Check
Panasonic Lamp Gallery for an image of this lamp assembly.

My pt61lcz7 has picture but no sound
Sound in these sets is first developed from the TV tuner.Look to see if you have sound with a DVD etc played via rear inputs.Look to see if speakers in menu are ON or OFF.If using a cable/sat box/ or receiver connected to rear inputs unplug each and wait--plug back and let each reboot--issue can be caused by this kind of equipment.l of course hope one of these helps but if not set MAY have a audio circuit problem.

Tv turns on but after 5 minutes turns off
Hello,
You need to check the output voltages of the power supply to see which one goes off. It may be due to short circuits some where,if otherwise, It's the problem of overheating in the power supply board of the TV.on the power supply board of the TV there are few capacitors and IC.any of this ic is got short or may be weak.so due to this when you start the TV the current passes from electric outlet to the power supply board of TV.but when the current passes from that weak/faulty part at that time current gets stopped or slow and the board overheats and TV shuts off. this is a common problem faced by many other users too.the possible option to solve this issue is to check the power supply board by a meter and continuity tester and replace the faulty component on the board which is short due to which power supply board is getting overheated.its bit technical job but yes its not at all a costly repair to do or get it done by the technician. for required parts it can be easily available from local electronic hardware shop.
Hoping this will help in solving the problem....

My tv wont turn on
if the lamp light is on, it means replace the projector bulb, they cost between 60 and 200 dollars and you must be careful when installing it, not to touch or rattle the bulb.

Green light flashes several times.
look for 1 of 2 lights in front of the tv. after the tv shuts down completley mine would turn back on for another 30-45 min after a good cleaning it will stay off and give a "power light" not Lamp light 2 flashes. I'm waiting on some help myself. But if it's the lamp light you'll need to replace the lamp....approximitly $600 from what i've read so far.
