If you keep blowing a fuse, you have some sort of amperage overload. Is this a fuse on the television or one in your home? If it's in your home, find out what else is on the circuit and perhaps find anothe place to plug some of the items in.

The ballast board can be found to the right of the light engine on this model. Its the board from which two thick red wires go to the lamp compartment. Its not that hard to replace it if you manage to locate it but you should excercise caution as this is a high voltage circuit and can cause serious bodily harm if you are not careful. I will give you the replacement instructions, but first we need to find the replacement board online. If you can get me the part number off the one in your set, I can get you the link to the replacement. It is advisable to look for parts using part number because there are often 4 to 5 different versions of the same board available online and the part number is the only way to ensure that you get the correct version of the part.

ebritton..had same issue with its bigger brother the wd65733..white spots and black specs..started out as 2..with in 2 weeks hundreds and hundreds of them.. I RESERCHED ONLINE IN MANY FORUMS..concluded it's the dlp chip .. IT'S LOCATED ..on the back of the circuit board inside the light engine assembly.....i found tvbservice on ebay had the chips in stock...mine was 300.00 ..IT WAS VERY EASY TO REPLACE...just a phillips screwdriver and a small flat blade screwdriver to remove the dlp chip itself....just make notes on exacty where the screws come out of to save you time..there is a thin metal fan assembly attached to the circuit board..remove it and un plug about 8 harness plugs...again take notes..draw pictures...so you dont plug them in wrong..TAKE THE SCREWS OUT OF THECIRCUIT BOARD AND HEAT SINC...THERE IT IS...vaccum all the dust off the board and heat sinc,,fab ect...handle the metal fan assembly with care..it bends easisly and may hit the fan blades when reinstalling it..trust me on this lol...had to take it off and straighten it up

If it's not the inverter cable that has the problem then the screen is damaged/broken on the inside. Have it checked by a qualified technician or you might cause complicated issues if you do it yourself.

The lamp is most likely needing replacement. Replaceing the lamp is a very easy proceedure on that model.I am pasting a pic where the lamp cover is located on rear cover. Remove the screw and the lamp is behind the lamp door.
