Mitsubishi WD-65733 Lamp, Ballast, or Other Problem

What do you think should be right. If there any loose solder terminals to the ballast bard, this type of fault can occur. Anyway, I'm not sure about it; but check this frist before doing any other. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

Black an white spots on t.v.screen

You need to replace your DLP chip located on your DMD board. You can buy the chip from shopjimmy.com for $160. Shop Jimmy also has a video that shows a step by step process to change it out yourself. I changed mine in 11/2 hours and my tv is like new. Make sure the new chip is placed perfectly square or your picture will be skewed, not the viewing picture, just printed media and it will drive you crazy. I know, I did it and had to take it apart and adjust my chip. Twice. Or, you can call mitsubishi.com and for $208 they will send a local tech to your house to fix it for you. I enjoyed the challenge. It wasn't hard. Good luck.
