Why is picture blurry?
Sounds like a misalignment problem. the lens has a specific optical plane the DLP chip must be positioned at in order to provide the proper focus on the screen. Try repositioning the board or adjusting the lens to clear up the fuzzy picture. Regards.

I have sound but no pic it just a scrambled
It sounds like either the controller is bad or the color wheel or scanning sync encoder is dirty or defective. One thing to try is to reset the controller program by unplugging the TV, wait two minutes, then power it ON. The micro-controller will reload it's program from flash memory (which takes several minutes). When the lights are all OFF, turn the set ON and see if the picture is correct. If you select the menu and the picture of the menu is stable, then the problem may be in the signal coming into the TV. Regards.

Mitsubishi tv sound no picture?
It is most likely that your light engine has gone out. When this happened to mine that was the part the service technician changed.

Why mitsubishi dlp wont work
I have had a similar problem and it has always been the bulb. If that doesn't fix it, then the ballast. Most likely your bulb is on the way out.

Installed new lamp but her static sounds wd-73733 and still no picture
I would venture to guess the bulb figment is your issue and the electrical sound is most likely arching (very bad). The cheap replacements won't last. I bought a sylvania build and matched the model number with the one from inside the old bulb housing. Changing out the bulb from the casing is really easy so just return the one you bought and buy the corresponding bul without the case.

Flashing yellow lamp light
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. Viewing it in "
Mosaic" or "
Magazine" will make surf easy.

Replaced dlp chip
Kelly,
The yellow blinking light generally means that the lamp cover is open. You may have accidentally jarred the lamp while changing the DMD chip, and the lamp safety switch is not engaging. The first thing I would try would be to re-install the lamp and make sure the cover is on correctly. Let us know if that solves the problems. Thanks.
