You could try checking the DVD discs in a region free player program to see if the DVD is playable. You could try Leawo Blu-ray Player which can play Blu-ray and DVD discs from any region. If the DVD discs can't be played on this player, then it's highly possible that the DVD disc is unplayable.

This is an electret condenser microphone which isn't a standalone self-energising device and needs a small amount of power and a couple of other components to produce a working device. It is possible the Sony microphone might have some, all or none of those built into the package and this will have to be investigated. Assuming you are using a cable to connect your cell phone to the speaker you could be overloading the input of the speaker when you turn the phone volume up very high. That would cause distortion that might damage the speaker so it shuts down or turns off.

I suspect there is either a problem with the radio (AM side) or most likely it is a matter of poor AM signal strength where you are and/or high levels of interference. With FM reception the wire lead of the earphones acts as a fairly efficient antenna but AM reception is via the internal ferrite rod aerial that also is part of the tuned circuit and consequently is not only highly directional but is sensitive to vertical/horizontal orientation - if the signal is polarised vertical the antenna is more efficient when it too is vertical, unfortunately horizontal polarisation is more common. Development of AM receivers stopped decades ago due to it falling out of favour because of high levels of interference around population centres causing much dissatisfaction and a move to FM and over the last two decades an increased interest in digital radio.

Are the videos in the right format? The format that works for the mp3 is MP4 video. you must convert your videos using a mp4 converter.
