Frigidaire 30 in. Electric Gallery Series Self-Cleaning Double Wall Oven Questions & Answers
Frigidaire wall over model number
I had this problem a year ago (both elements worked in top oven but only broil element worked in the lower of the dual ovens). I swapped elements around but the problem was still the bottom element bottom oven.
So I called the repairman. He replaced the relay board (Part #AP2127301) for the lower oven, and it worked again. Yippee.
But now a year later, I have the exact same problem. Lower element on lower oven is not working (Frigidaire you have got to be kidding)!
However this time I decided to take a look at the relay board myself, to at least save the expense of the repairman. I looked closely at the board and thought I saw a cold solder joint on relay K4. But just to be safe I touched up all the connections on all the relays with flux and a soldering iron.
Works perfectly again !!
Please if you try this, disconnect the power first. In fact if I had to tell you that, then just call somebody.
F8 error and bottom door
Here is Frigidaire's suggestion to your problem:
Oven Control Beeps
and Displays an "F"
Error Code
Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Push CANCEL pad to clear the display
and stop the display from beeping. Reprogram the oven. If a fault reoccurs, record the fault
number, push the CANCEL pad and contact an authorized servicer.
Fridgidaire Wall Oven will not heat
1) If there is a reset on the electronic panel try that.
2) Set the temperature to 200 and see if works then.
3) Put a baking tin in the oven with a piece of meat in it.
4) Uninstall the Wall Oven and take the back off and check the wiring for the elements and the convection fan.
Fridgiaire Gallery series Model GLEB30T8CBA lower elements dont work
I replaced the relay board for the top oven (the one with the transformer) and it works properly now. My issue was only for the top oven so you probably have to replace both relay boards since both ovens have only the top element working.
318022002 is the part number for the relay board with transformer
318022001 is the part number for the relay board without transformer
Yes the one without the transformer is more expensive for some reason.
The boards are on the top of the oven, I was able to pull out the oven about 75% of the way out of the cabinet and easily get to the boards. Just unplugged the connections and plugged them into the new board.
To get the oven out there are two small screws that go into brackets inside the top oven door. Highly recommend taking the doors off the oven to pull it out, much easier to work with.
NOTE: On my old board I noticed one solder joint that was burned out and I since I already had the new board I just replaced but you might want to check that first and see if just a solder fix gets you working again before you spend $$ on a new board.
The oven was cleaned recently. Since then, it will not heat up. Instead 135 and prebake, on appear. Cannot get rid of this. Help?
Hey Mark, thank you for your submission!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire oven is no longer heating up after it was cleaned. The oven may need to be reset in order to help clear out any miscommunication. In order to reset the oven you would need to flip the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If the reset does not help clear out your issue I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional technician. You can locate a technician in your area from your manufacturer's website. I hope that this information is helpful. -Matt
Frigidaire Gallery series model GLEB30T8CBA key pad not working
Hello Dana, thank you for your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire oven is displaying an error code of "F8" and your keypad is not working properly. An "F8" error stands for runaway temperature (overheating). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes.
If that does not help correct your issue then you could have a problem with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Oven no heat
1.Aclicking sound could be something wrong with a relay. Check for any loose connections around the main control board on your oven. The click you hear is a relay losing power and switching back on. If the clock resets then something is causing power interruptions to the board.
If your oven has internal fuses, a wiring or component problem could have caused a fuse to blow. A blown fuse is an indication that a component has shorted or failed, and the problem will need to be corrected. Most ovens that use fuses will have an indication of the circuits that are affected by a particular fuse. If an oven fuse has blown, then you should inspect the oven element and the associated wiring to determine the cause before replacing the fuse.
THINGS TO CHECK:
the broil element
is the heating element that is found at the top of the oven and produces a very high heat for broiling. If the broil element isn't working, you should first do a visual inspection for signs that the element has blistered or separated. If the element appears normal then you can check for continuity with a multi-meter. Remove power from the appliance before performing this test. Remove the back panel and locate the terminals for the broil element and inspect the terminals and wires for signs of overheating or damage.
If there is no continuity then the element will need to be replaced. If the wires are damaged then they will need to be repaired. If the element is ok then you will need to check the broil circuit to determine the cause. This involves live voltage checks and should only be performed by qualified persons. Components to check include fuses, if the range is equipped, and oven control thermostat or electronic control.
The bake element
is the heating element that is found at the bottom of the oven. Most electric ovens use both the bake element and the broil element in a bake cycle, with the bake element performing 90% of the heating. If the bake element isn't working, the oven may not heat. To help determine if the bake element is defective you should first do a visual check. If the element is blistered or separated then it should be replaced. If the element appears to look normal, then turn the oven on to a bake function for a minute and then turn it off.
Check the element for signs of heating and if it is still cold then it may be defective. Disconnect the power and then remove the back panel. First check the wires as they may have become loose or corroded. If the element appears to be fine visually, test it for continuity with a multi-meter. ( by placing the each of the meter prongs on each end of the heater element connectors) If the element is burned or no longer has continuity, it will need to be replaced.
The oven safety valve
(also called the gas valve) is the part that ensures that gas is not released until the igniter has reached the correct temperature needed to ignite the gas. While this part can fail, it is uncommon. If the hot surface igniter does not glow you should first verify that you have voltage to the circuit. This is a live voltage check and should be performed by a qualified person. If voltage is lost at the valve terminals then you should verify the continuity of the bi-metal in the valve using a multi-meter.
Boiler does not work ellameny is good
Good Morning James, thanks for your post!
From my understanding your broiler feature is not working on your Frigidaire wall oven and the element is good. It could be a potential issue with the thermostat or connector of wall oven. If there is a miscommunication within the wall oven you may be able to perform a reset to clear the issues. If you would like to attempt a reset you would need to flip the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct your issue I would recommend contacting a professional technician for assistance in diagnosing your wall oven. Hope this is helpful. -Matt
Accidentally hit clean button on a Frigidaire Gallery Oven. Hit Cancel button. Oven door won't open.
I appreciate your post, C Maury!
From my understanding your hit the clean button on your Frigidaire wall oven and now the door will not open. I would hold down the cancel button for at least ten seconds, this should unlock the door. If that does not help I would recommend disconnecting power from your wall oven by flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this information was helpful to some degree. -Matt
How do i unlock door on frigidaire stove
Thank you for your inquiry, friend!
You can perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by disconnecting power from your appliance for roughly ten minutes. If your control panel has a cancel button hold that down and that should release the door. If those steps do not correct the issue please comment back and I will be happy to assist you further. -Matt
Getting f10 on oven
Hi Dave, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Typically error code F10 indicates that your Frigidaire range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let's attempt reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps! - Z
My oven bakes, but it takes 30 minutes to preheat
Hi friend, thank you for your post!
I know from your post that your Frigidaire oven is working but the preheat takes 30 minutes. This does sound like lengthy amount of time for preheat to be completed. From what you are describing it could be an issue with the panel, element, or thermostat. Since it could be anyone of these underlying issues I would recommend having a professional come out to diagnose your refrigerator to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. -Matt
How do i test a control panel of a frigidaire wall oven
Good Morning Friend,
I understand that you want to know how to test the control panel on your Frigidaire wall oven, model# FEB386WECH, due to the bake element not working. I also see that you have changed the bake element and only the broil works. Typically, this is not a do it yourself job, as there are no step by step instruction manuals. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your appliance and should be able to diagnose your appliance and determine why the bake element is not working. Hope this is helpful.

How to fix frigidaire wall oven beeping error message f11
Good Morning Friend,
I understand that your Frigidaire wall oven is beeping and showing an F11 error code. Typically an F11 error code states that there is a shorted key, or a button has been detected as pressed for a long time. I suggest hard resetting your appliance, by cutting the power at your homes circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. While you are resetting your oven, make sure to wipe down the control panel. The panel is very sensitive and could be detecting something that has splashed or spilled onto it, even dust. When you bring power back to your appliance you will need to start by setting the clock. Turn your oven on any cycle at any temperature. If you are still receiving an F11 error code, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.
