HelloThe T'Con board {Timing Control Board] has damaged. It should be repalced.

I just repaired my Sony with this problem by adding shims under the LED driver board. This board sits over top of the T-CON board and spans the length of the screen. Several conductive pads on the board make a connection between this circuit and the metal frame that runs across the top of it. By adding a slight pressure under the circuit board where the pad resides, it created a better connection and resolved the problem.

You most likely have a ccfl in the backlight that has burnt out. It's a long, thin fragile light behind the screen. I had a 40in sony lcd that I fixed this way.

HelloCheck its mother board for any solder loose or refulator IC failure. You must have through knoledge in electronics to follow up. If you have, inform me. This is the pircture of the motherbard to your tV. To do any sork to this board, you must have knoledge to follow its schematic diagram, It is a skilled work indeed.

Hi I have an old school solution for your problem with your tv. Hit it!!!!! When you turn on your tv, go to it and lightly tap on the middle of the left frame. You should see it affect your screen. Do it until your screen is perfect. Hope it works.

It can be bad T-CON or bad LCD panel. You can try reseating the ribbon cables between the T-CON and the LCD panel (delicate works) to see if it fixed the problem.

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

thanx smart home just had the green line prob your fix worked like a charm. any tips on a crisper pic ive always found that unless the source is 1080p perfect the picture is a little blurry. its almost like there is no image processing. man i mis my hitatchi.

Check the aspect ratio on the TV, if there are black bars on the sides, the program you are watching is in 4:3 (Square) on a widescreen (Rectangular) tv and are meant to be there.

You need to repalce our main unit board. You can probably get at this locations.

6 blinks means abnormal speaker voltage. Hook up external speakers and see if the set comes on. Let me know how it goes.

Menu mode to "Settings" toggle to "Banner" setting is "off" it will still display the input at first power up for 15 sec or so, then off. If you still have a problem with this, post a comment and I will help you further

T-Conn panel could be defect but i guess it's the LCD panel.

This is called a bad solder lead or cold solder joint when they started to use lead free solder in factories these issues started to bloom not just in your TV but others too. You might want to consider taking it to a shop locally to have the situation repaired I amsure if it is something that needs t rework it will not cost much say about $50 at the most.

The T-con board is developing problems,just not dead yet.This board it sit at the middle of bottom of the LCD screen.That board is the cause.
