Possible that there is errors due to many reasons but the most possible can be:

A faulty drum servo - failure of drive or hall IC
A faulty capstan drive.
A struck up loading mechanism
Failure of the dew sensors, end sensors.
Shorting or high current drain in circuits.

First you check your driver in the site which the camera product owner site.Download free from that site and install.Then use to connect the camera with computer.If it is not worked, take out the memory stick and connect it with memory card reader.It will work and you can upload your videos to computer

You badly need CD, visit your nearest JVC Center, you can ask a copy of it, you might need the application software as well, it comes all together too large to send via email. Important Note, Connect first your cam and pc before installing the driver. Hope it helps

I'm betting you bought an aftermarket battery and not an original JVC battery. The error message you are getting is caused by the camcorder not being able to read the charge sensor in the battery. Some of the aftermarket batteries neglect to put that sensor in the battery, or have a sensor which does not match the OEM sensor in a factory battery. Try an original JVC battery. Take camera and its battery to a camera outlet, ask them to check the built-in rechargeable battery. Most outlets will help you with this, as its likely that if the battery has failed, you'll buy a replacement from the same dealer.
