I have a trendnet wireless

The router connects computers together . You are using a windows 7 p.c and connecting it to an internet connection via a usb verizon um175 aircard. I think you need to share the internet connection with the rest of the network and may need to feed the ethernet cable into the feed port of the router. I have not done this before but logically the windows 7 computer would have to act as a gateway to the internet. http://www.dummies.com/computers/operating-systems/windows-7/how-to-share-an-internet-connection-in-windows-7/ https://www.ibvpn.com/billing/knowledgebase/53/Internet-Connection-Sharing-on-Windows-7.html Note the default gateway is going to have to be the windows 7 ip address on the other computers You may need to set the ip address on windows 7 to a static address and then change the dhcp server settings default gateway and also increase the first address to not include the windows 7 ip address or the routers ip address in the lease range for shcp.

It is a higher level of security than WEP that combines encryption and authentication to create an unbreakable level of protection. For small office and home users the WPA preshared key (WPA-PSK) is the easiest set up and does not involve a Certificate Authority Server, which is recommended for small and large business customers. Once the preshared key is set-up on each network device, every packet sent over the wireless network will receive its own encryption key under the Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP). A key benefit to WPA is that it is backward compatible with WEP-only devices. For those users looking to ensure those who share keys are who they claim to be a Certificate Authority Server or RADIUS Server can be added. You didn't state what kind of router that you are using with this wireless adapter. Your adapter is 150mbps so we know it is N technology.

It sounds like it is a security issue. I would suggest making sure that your security is matched perfectly being WEP, WPA, etc etc. If you are manually typing you broadcast ID into the setup for the adapter, it could be the spelling or punctuation. I have seen many people (including myself) have issues from leaving out 1 capital letter.

Having traded out the adapter for a new one you have eliminated that from consideration.

My Employer Says They Are Going To Cut My Wages. Can They?

If you are in the middle of a contract, then cutting your wages is almost certainly a violation of your employment law rights. While I am by no means an expert on this matter, I did have a similar issue years ago - mid-contract wage cuts - and I hired anemployment attorney to fight the case on my behalf. It turned out that my employer was basically looking to scare people into taking the wage cut. They got into some pretty serious legal trouble for their transgression, and nothing happened to me in terms of wage cuts after that. If you are between contracts, your employer can re-negotiate your salary, but as far as I am aware, if you are in an agreed-upon contract, they cannot just decide to reduce your salary. If you want to settle matters, contest this action with support from a legal professional.
