I have a Nokia E51 phone and the Keypad is locked. I tried to unlock by pressing left Soft key an * key. But the * key is not getting pressed. Not able to find the right answer. Please Help me

If the black rubber cover of the button is blocking you to the small switch inside, you have to remove the rubber first until you can see the small on/off switch inside the hole. Make a small block (approximately 3mm x 3mm x 8mm) out of a pencil eraser (or hard rubber). Place and fit the rubber inside the hole so that part of the rubber touch the switch. Now you can turn the phone by pressing the rubber.

Ask service provider for Unlock code to Unlock the Mobile from Network Lock..

As far as I know free codes does not unlock your phone, so even if you would find a unlock code or whatever you'd have to spend some money.
I would recommend the Unlock-Zone.com site is nearly perfect and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.
I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.

Hi and good day! will the problem of your phone is corrupted,and to solve it, reformat the phone or restore it into factory default, now after the reformat 's done please use the external memory of your phone and if possible only the contact number should be in your internal memory to avoid more problem later......

The first thing to do is try to test another sim card and see the result if need to replace another one. or try to clean your sim card using a pencil eraser,scrub it gently,might got some corrosion that's why it does not contact the simcard terminal.

Also check the level of the simcard reader or socket if it is align and the lock that clips the sim as well,also clean the the pins to see if there's some dirt attach.

If fails within this 2 methods,it can be sim IC or some of the components that need to replace,better visit mobile repair center for parts replacement.

There is software problem to restore your mobile first switch off your mobile
then press and hold 3keys in one time thous keys are
1) * key & number3 key hold both keys then
2) hold Switch on Button till your nokia blinks 3 time or hold it till 3mins
your mobile software will be restored.

it not solved then Please Renew you are mobile software if your a mobile technician then use your mobile flashing tools e.g JAF software flashing tool or UFS software flashing tool. thous are having bunch of cables select your mobile cable by name RM 244 it is the perfect cable for your mobile connect it to the software tool box it may JAF or UFS. then try to check then boot files if every thing is ok then click to flash it will start flashing your mobile. If your not a Mobile technician then please do not try the above thing it is harmful for your mobile it may get dead.

If your not a mobile technician then please visit your nearest Nokia Service Center (Nokia Care) they will do it in a proper method.
