I couldn't get it done with the USB cable. I spoke to LG, and US Cellular, and they had no ideas. This is what I finally did that works, and it does them all at once, instead of sending them one at a time to your online album/email. Get a bluetooth dongle (Ebay for a couple of bucks). Plug it in (It will automatically load drivers). Download "BFT" (Bluetooth File Transfer), which is free. They just ask for donations if you like it. Connect the phone via bluetooth to the pc. It took me all of three minutes to transfer all photos and audios from three different phones to the computer. It's really simple to do, once you find the right software. yeah take ur sim card out turn the phone on and enter *2767*2878# that resets the phone than turn it off and put ur sim back.that will take the password off.worked with mine hope it works with u too

When you place a new or a existing SIM card from another phone provider into your mobile phone and it asks for a Security code then :-
This phone is locked to the original mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for this phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in this phone or sign up with another phone provider using this phone.
You could ring the phone provider and ask for the unlock security code because you are going overseas and wish to use your phone with a prepaid SIM card from another country. This maybe a free service.
The other way to get your phone unlock is to use a phone unlocking company on the Internet, they usually charge a couple of Dollars for their services. Use Google and search for "Security unlocking code” companies in your area.

I had simmilar problems, re-setting the phone was no help.

I had to replace the flex cable that connects the screen to the main board in the end and phone now works perfectly.

You get three tries to input the correct puk code. these codes are specific to each sim card and can only be found from the customer service of your service provider. If you have already put in the wrong puk three times then you need a new sim card. they are free and you will be back up and running but will have lost any contacts on the sim.

It seems that your LCD had failed in the phone and will need a replacement. try to open thefront panel and take out the display then set it back after giving a clean up. make sure the connection of the display is fine and connecting well. Reset the display back and switch on the phone. if the display is still absent try to shake around the connections for any signs of life onthe display. If not you will have to take a chance to make a confirmation by the assistance of the samsung service centre. get an estimate before you can confirm on the work and only if it is feasible. hope you try this out. If you have blue tooth on your computer then all you need to know is to get this activated in the phone and also select the blue tooth option in your PC. Use the same passworrd tobe accepted to lock into the system. Now you can transfer files from the phone to the PC or otherwise. I hope you can try this out. Good day
