Canon is fairly standard with their error codes no matter the model. Error Code 5700 basically means the paper sensor is not working properly. If this is the case then you will need to buy another printer. Most repair shops will charge more to fix the old one then you would spend on a new one. Sorry for the bad news. Hi Guy, I believe that what you mean is 'Waste Ink Tank Is Full' error on Canon MP520. To fix this problem, first you need to reset waste ink counter of the printer then you should replace the ink absorber with new one. I had the same problem. The all-in-one driver download doesn't include the stuff you need for the scanner. Go to this link (canon), click "OSX" on the dropdown list for what os you're using, then click "mp520sosxsd1391ej7.dmg" under "MP520 series Scanner Driver Ver. 13.9.1 (Mac OS X 10.2/10.3/10.4/10.5/10.6)." It doesn't take long to download and completely fixes the problem.

It does accept envelopes, You need to go to advanced on your printer driver, go to media, it should be there.
