you have not stated what is not assigned on your screen ?Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they might be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electical extensions

even something as small as an electrical fan and its lead can cause you problems or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs all electrical power and data to continue through every working device and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket

if you remove your graphics check the socket to make sure its dust free

restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard

If you are able to open your keypad get to it and look at the bottom of the keypad. You must identify those keys that do not work. You shall see that underneath the keypads there is some black round stuff that is sealed there for contact. What you do with the keys that won't work, you must clean the surface with damp cotton wool. If this doesn't remedy the situation then get an old pad of a desk calculator. If you carefullly cut a thin slice of the black material and seal it against the key that's not working using good contact adhesive. Try this and see if works for you. It worked for me.

turn it off and it will go off. Take off the power and wait 10 seconds counting such as one mississipi. then turn it back on, if this persists, take it to get it fixed

If, as you say there is no paper in it, then the error message is telling you it needs paper.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

Yes, unplug unit, remove batteries, then repeat the original set up proccedure listed in manual.

Turn the key to X or Z position then first press the dot (decimal) button and after that press the CA/AT/NS button. And your data reseted to 0. If you key is in the X position you are reseting the X data, in the Z position you are reseting the Z data.

The units built in protection circuit might be faulty or needs resetting, this unit is operated by a rechargeable battery, try charging the batteries, you can do that by switching the mode switch to any position other than OFF, then plug in to ac outlet, charging the batteries may take up few hours up to two days, depending on batteries and their charge level,
