Will power on but is not receiving picture from MAC, it says,"No signal, digital," and then the light goes orange from blue. Do you think it's the connecting cord?

Make sure the MAC is sending a valid timing mode that conforms to industry timing standards or VESA standards.

Plastic cover

How to remove back cover of ViewSonic G71F+. First remove the 3 screws at the bottom , one on each side and one above the VGA cable. Now look for three small slots on the top of the monitor near the screen. From the side opposite the screen insert 2 medium-small flat blade screwdrivers into the center slot and the slot on one side at an angle of about 25 degrees from the top plane of the monitor then gently pry up by pushing the screwdriver handles toward the top plane of the monitor. Once the plastic latch in the center and one side are released move the screwdriver on the side to the opposite side to release that side.

Where can I find the right driver to install a Viewsonic VE710b Flat Panel Monitor? I am running Windows 7, 64-bit **This connects to my VGA port, I already have 36" Samsung conntected via HDMI, and

Search Viewsonic.com. The Windows generic driver usually works. If you have a special video driver for your Samsung, it may be interfering. Multiple monitors have to be set up through your display driver. The viewsonic should be available through the device manager.

Hi. I have a viewsonic model VA712. I suspect a failed backlight. What to do?

well if you don't see a lot , your backlight is dead:), easy to repair since you propably get 3 screens which fit when you search for it and every screen is just an oem.... :). except the special expensive once. Take notice if your screen connection is left or right sided and besides get it removed and placed is by unscrew some screw and then comes the uncliccing parts; Use some a sharp screwdriving(with some tape on it to avoid get ugly points). It's just clickwork, don't be afraid to ruse some strength. good luck

Check your computer to make sure it is actually sending out a signal. You can do this by hooking up another working monitor. If the other monitor works, there maybe a problem with the original monitor and it may need to be sent for service repair.
