connect the p2 to you rcomputer and then open up the 'my computer' and it should have a p icon there. open it up and open the pictures file and just drop the pictures you want in there.

okay, first of all this is probably one of the many other ways you can put videos onto the P2, so how I do it is to convert the video file to "avi" then use "emodio", the software that came with the player (if not with player, you can go to www.emodio.com to download it) then convert the video from avi to svi from there. thats basically it~

just connect it to ur computer, open it through my computer, and manually delete it..... OR u can go to SMS or Emodio, and delete it from ther!

use control panel, then "add hardware" look for P2 in the list, reinstall it.

sometime you need to discharge the battery completely those charger are electronic they dont charge properly if the battery not fully discharge cheers

ive used samsungs media studio and emodio,both are ****.much better to use windows media .cheers paul

try hitting the reset button on the back of the device. you might also have the hold or lock button on. look at the sides of your devise and if you see any orange then slide the bar down until the whole side is black.

yep very easy i got mine fixed infact i got a new p2 because of that problem call the place where u got it ask for the samsung company so u can take it back and talk to them about it i got a new one!

It sounds like the internal battery pack may be failing. The rechargeable batteries commonly used in MP3 players last a long time but they do eventually fail and when that happens the battery will fail to properly hold a charge. It may come up to full voltage when you attempt to charge it but will quickly run out of power when removed from the charger. This sounds like what is happening based on your description.

I would recommend contacting Samsung to get battery replacement service. You can call them at 1-800-SAMSUNG (726-7864) or use their online service request tool. If the unit is outside of the original manufacturer's warranty there will probably be a charge for the service.

first of all what were you installing? look for the companys website of whatever you were installing for the device, try looking for it at download.com, try looking for it in a torrent.

Ok well im 14 and I have a p2 myself. Have you plugged in the cord all the way? Thats what happens to me sometimes. I forget to plug it in all the way and then it wont work. Just try that and let me know. It should work though. But was your p2 recognizing it was connected to your computer?

well get the firmware updated to 5.10 which will make it work

well you can format the whole mp3 or just hook it up to the computer and delete it that way

go to samsungplay.com and download the firmware for the yp-p2LAB witht hat it will update images and everything else

well if you got the 2 year warranty then you can get it replaced but if you don't then you gotta buy a diffrent mp3 or ipod

well usually it is just the headphones, but if you got the 2 year warranty then you can send it in and they will fix it or send you a new one

The YP-P2 did not come with a manual for me, so I assume that none of them come with it (possibly to save money). You can download the manual on Samsung's website.
