Samsung YP-T10 Digital Media Player - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do I delete audio files?
You should either delete them manually delete the duplicates from Your PC or go to this site:
Download Centre SAMSUNG and then download and install the latest firmware for the YP-T10 because clearly the firmware you have right now doesnt support deleting! The instructions on how to upgrade should be in the manuals section!

software to recover your pictures and music
.For data recovery program,I have used Tenorshare Data Recovery. It can recover data after deeply
scanning your media player to look for lost data you accidentally deleted or formatted. By the way,you can

How to update The Samsung T10 firmware
This drove me crazy, too! The trick is that you have to search the download section of Samsung.com with your very specific model number. You can't just use T10 or T10JAW just because that's the example they used on the website. For example, mine was YP-T10JAUY. Save the zip file to your desktop, then extract the files to your desktop (doesn't matter what folder name as long as you remember where the file are). Next, open a Windows Explorer window by right-clicking the "Start" button and select "Explore". Obviously, your T10 should be connected already. You'll see the T10 on the left-side window. HERE'S THE REAL TRICK: you have to get the T10 files to show up in the RIGHT side window. Click on the T10 to expand the internal folders (still in the left side window), then in the left window click on either "Data" or "Internal Storage"--which one you see will depend on whether you use Windows Media Player 10 or 11. Click on that on the left side and it should open the right side Explorer window to the files in the Data or Internal Storage folder. This is where you have to put the firmware. On the right side.
You can't drag-drop the firmware update files into the T10 in the left-side window. This is NOT clear in the firmware update instructions that you see in the new manual that goes with the new firmware. After you copy the firmware to the T10, you just disconnect from the computer and when you turn it on, it should upgrade the firmware.
Those YouTube "how to upgrade firmware" videos don't describe this...a HUGE oversight. None of the other various supposed how-to explanations said this stuff either. JEEZ! It's not that hard if someone would just explain it correctly! I wasted HOURS trying to figure this out. I hope it helps you.

How i get Samsung yp-t10 software
Hi there
You don't need any software, when you plug it into your computer it should be recognised as a USB Mass Storage Device. This will allow you to drag and drop files like any other drive.
According to the manual, if this doesn't work there is a reset button on the back that will need to be pushed.
The software is only used for converting the file formats, you can use iTunes to convert those if you need to.
My YP-T10 sliding power switch
Hi, not a solution but that is exactly what is happening to my T10 as well. It just started working this way yesterday and I don't know how to fix it. When I want to change a song, I have to slide the power switch so that I'm nearly turning it off to change a song. As well as that, I can see the 'lock' symbol on my screen even when I don't put my T10 on hold. Someone please help?
