Not filling cup

First, I'm not a Talea technician. But I've worked on similar machines. * The air that comes out in the end may be normal for your machine as most of these small home units will "air flush" the coffee grounds to get every last bit of the brew out. This also helps keep the unit clear of old coffee liquids. * pour pour, shot, puck, etc. are signs of an improperly prepared espresso. This can be caused by many things but since this is an robotic machine that performs the same time and time again then lets assume for now that the machine is working properly. If the machine is at fault then it will require service from your vendor or directly from the MFR. * Did you change beans? Poor quality beans are usually easy to spot; Lighter color beans, Multi-color, very oily (shiny ok but not dripping like butter), flavored beans (poor quality bean with flavor added). All automatic espresso or cappuccino machines are expected to have Espresso roast with French roast or at least a Dark roast as the basis for any coffee beverage. Lesser roasts; regular, mild, house roast tend to make a poor cup. Clean out all old coffee and replace with a high quality ESPRESSO roast coffee (Lavazza is a good example) Run machine through 3 or more cycles to flush out old beans and oils. It may take 10 or more cycles so be patient. * Did you change water source? Since this is a table top machine in which you fill the water tank. Try to use filtered (bottled ok) water. Do Not use Distilled or 100% pure water as this type of water will eat out the metals from your machine! Some places use a water softener as it tends to be better for the machine long term (years). * Finally; Beans and Water are the two things you can control. If your still having problems then lets look at the machine: Can you reset it to original factory settings? Do so and check results. If it's okay then SLOWLY make your changes one at a time till you get the best result or stop if it gets worst. Note: once set to your liking then DON'T change beans or water as it will change everything. (even a batch of beans can be bad. Stay with a reputable coffee roaster!) * Still got problems? Check with vendor or MFR for service or replacement. Most machines of this type do not have serviceable parts or adjustments. Aloha, ukeboy57

Machine seems to be stuck in descaling mode. I

Descaling Problem SOLVED! Folks, I really hope this helps a lot of you. I too encountered the dreaded descaling problem where it gets stuck in a loop and never finishes. I thought the machine was toast and see so many reviews that people experienced this and had to return the machine. I tore apart the machine and figured out the issue and the super simple fix! What happens is the water level sensor does not know it is running out so when the tank empties due to running dry, it never completes the cycle. Where the water basin goes, if you look at the back lower down, you will see a small rectangular protrusion. This is the water level sensor that works by measuring capacitance. You know how sometimes your machine runs completely out of water and you have to prime it with the tea/hot water button? This is why! When you put the tank in full, water splashes over the edge and down the back. It coats the outside rear of the tank and the sensor with water so the machine thinks it still has an adequate level of water but then all of a sudden runs dry. The FIX: Take a paper towel and dry off the water level sensor and the back of the tank. When you put the tank in, do not fill it too high and put it in gently to avoid water spilling out. Simple as that...fixed!

The brew group pops off after a cycle. the lever on the bottom gets stuck and doesn't move across to produce the "puck"

a.) Group get of is place when it is not clear and and there is big pressure. b.) Behind the group there is a switch that stops group motor when group reach the end. When that switch (micro switch) is not working correct the motor doesn't stop at the end and the pressure pulls it out.

Our saeco talea giro descaling

Yes this is correct. You have to press the steam/water button down ... and NOT the descale button as the instructions say in the manual. Apparently Saeco/Phillips has had so many descaling problems with this machine that it has stopped making them. I am convinced that it was the error in the manual that caused most of the descaling problems that are reported - not the machine.

Saeco talea giro flashing red exclamation point

take out the coffee waste bin, on the side facing into the machine, there's a little metal bit, it's a kind of sensor. Clean it if it's dirty with a screwdriver or some wire wool. Have you cleaned the brew group lately?

Talea giro plus / Descaling with vinegar

There are a couple of things I am thinking for this:If the espresso machine is not spraying the hot steam like it should it says in the manual to take apart the steam apparatus and clean with hot water then to run hot water through the device after each use to clean. Furthermore, have you seen those CLR commercials? I am sure white vinegar would be fine to put through the machine. As far as the ratio is concerned use a low concentrate to start out like 1 to 3 then increase until desired results occur.I hope this helps!

Talea giro descale already done but red led of descale has not gone

I was told by tech that if you hold the water button in for a few seconds then this resets. It depends on what kind of water you use too. If you use filtered or spring water then you don't need to descale it as often and you can override this by above method. Hope that helps.

What is the purpose of

The 3rd position on the steam knob is for a separate item call a 'Milk Island" which has a small jug attachment that you put milk into and then froths up for cappucinos. It is fantastic and works 10 times better than the steamer wand. It does a great job with lite milk. Item is sold separately, don't know how much it is as I got it as a gift. Hope that helps you.

The brew tray will not

Hi sounds like your machine is stuck in cycle, which is not in alinement for the trays to come out. you need to remove sidepanels and the top/front panel to access the inside so as to get to the brew unit and move it out of the way. Its not an easy job. Putting it back together is very tricky. The top/front panel needs to be flexed, like opening the jaws on a crocodile to get it to click back into position. It is only plastic, so dont give it too much flex. Dazza REPAIRER

I just received my brand

I had a similar problem. I opened and closed the water tank, the top coffee bean coffee and the dreg door several times. I even 'stirred' the coffee beans a bit. Finally, after simply taking the coffee bean cover off and putting it back on, the light went to green. Even now, several months later, I sometimes have to open and close everything to make the green light come on, although it seems to be getting better with age. (like me :-))

I have a red light

I have a Saeco Easy. Maybe the solution for my machine will help you. You did not specify which light is red I will assume it is the "Alarm" light.

Alarm light (looks like an "!" exclamation point)

• permanently on: signals the machine is out of coffee, the water tank is
empty, the drip tray is full or the dregdrawer is full.

• slowly flashing: signals that the brew group is not inserted, the dregdrawer
is not inserted, the coffee bean hopper lid is not on, the service door is open
or the steam/hot water knob is not correctly turned to the desired position.

• quickly flashing: signals the need to prime the water circuit
