How do I recover a deleted video?

I assume there's a memory card in your camera, right? So the deleted videos were stored in the card. Now get the card and insert it to your computer. run a video recovery program on it. If you're on a Mac, just feel free to use this app. http://www.leawo.org/data-recovery-mac/

Hi i have a kodak

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Pictures appear pink on camera screen and when downloaded to computer-what would cause this?

Perhaps you did select a SCN mode, with the main dial. Or chose a wrong white balance setting. Please switch the camera to the green loge on the main dial (auto mode) and check if that gives a better result. Start experimenting with other settings when you have a little more experience with the camera. Auto will give perfect pictures in 99% of all shots.

Why will my C813 suddenly no longer load pics to my computer?

What operating system do you have on your computer? If you're getting an error message, what does it say?

Unrecognised file format. How can

Do not take any more pictures, and remove the card from the camera to lessen the chance of you overwriting some important pictures or videos. There are very many freeware software options available to help you recover your files. Please see this article that reviews several of the better freeware recovery programs that you can try (and yes, these truly are freeware). You may need to use a card reader with these programs though.
AFTER you've recovered the photos, format the card in the camera using the camera's format feature to prevent this from happening again.

What do you clean it with alcohol or dry cloth tissue etc

Start with a dry cloth. If that doesn't do it, try a pencil eraser (be sure to blow all the gunk out afterward). Only if there's still crud on the contacts then resort to a little alcohol. Don't pour it onto the contacts directly, but onto a cloth.
