When you turn on my camera it turns on for a second then shuts of

Have you tried replacing the batteries with good quality new ones? that is the most obvious cause of this happening. Make sure they are inserted correctly. If using rechargeables make sure they are newish ones and are fully recharged.

Try camera on stays on for 2 seconds and then

Chage your batteries and try again. Try different set of new batteries. It is also possible some dirt somehow got on the outside of the lense and it prevents lense from opening all the way out. Clean the outside of the lense. Good luck

Same problem

Have you tried to use another batteri. Many lithium ion batteries are flawed and stop working.
It might be a solution so you dont have to throw it out..

Hope it works out for you

Turns off right away

hi...ensure that the camera is turned on. If applicable, ensure the lens cover has been removed before taking pictures. the LCD backlight is turned on by pressing the DISPLAY button several times until the screen appears. Depending on the camera model, the DISPLAY button may be labeled as DISP or with a display icon. This button could be a standalone button or it depends upon the camera model.....
If operating the camera with a battery, ensure the battery is fully charged.
Ensure the battery is inserted properly in the camera.
If operating the camera with the power adapter, ensure it is plugged into a working AC outlet.
Ensure no Audio/Video (A/V) cables are connected for viewing pictures on a TV; the LCD screen will not display when an A/V cable is connected.
Perform a reset procedure on the camera....
