Vtech Kidizoom Digital Camera - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Hi,
We have the Vtech
if everything is working i would think there is a memory problem, have a looking in memory and see if there is a format fertility, if not you will need to conect it to a pc and use the pc format on the vetec to reformat the memory for photos and video, its not the system memory and is safe to format.
Lg smart t.v won't turn on
Common problem with Lg sets as with Samsung it most likely requires Power supply repair kit off of ebay however you did not state model of set so I am guessing your not an engineer, so my advise would be contact your local repair man it is cheaper than a new set if you don't know what your doing. and of course you should always remember electricity can prove fatal.
How do I work this?
Hello Shannie,
I don't know what is wrong with the camera, but you should be able to charge it with a usb charger. I don't think you should be going after the batteries. Unless people are saying to replace the battery that charges inside. If its that battery I would just try writing a letter to the company complaining and asking for a replacement.

Instruction manual
Looks a lot like the KidTough digital camera from Fisher-price. From the J8209, J8210 and J8211 I saw a manual online recently. Google with the things I gave here. If I add a dot com I have to fill in stupid codes and I hate these puzzles.
Spots on the display screen
Still not clear, what you mean. But take care wham cleaning a lens. Never use a fluid like alcohol. Use a special lens pen or the soft brush on the other side of a lens pen, when you think the lens is dirty. Spots, or disk, also can appear when light is entering the lens from an angle. Even the expensive Fuji X10, had orbs or disks on the pictures in certain situations. Like dark with one or a few sharp lights close bye. Try the camera in different situations, to make sure the phenomena is in the camera or just a strange rare occasion.
When it is caused by a defect in the camera, it should show on every picture.
The camera wont turn on its brand new
Please be sure you did put the batteries in correct. Only one the wrong way around, could stop the camera from working correct.
Never try to shoot a picture or make a video, when the camera is connected to the computer. It then will act as a external memory to the computer and will not shoot any picture.
Corrupt software
You don't actually need the software, but go: http://www.vtechuk.com/Customer-Support/ and ask them to send it to you as a download.
I down load the pictures?
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
How to charge camera
You don't. The Kidizoom uses four standard AA batteries, either disposable or rechargeable. If you use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera using a standard battery charger. Rechargeable batteries and battery chargers should be available at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store.
Can't download photos to computer
I figured it out and boy do I feel dumb. If you have an SD card installed in the camera, there are actually two drives when you open "My Computer" - one is "VTech773", which is the internal memory and the other is "Removable Disk", which is the SD card. If your camera has an SD card and it is set up as the default storage option, then the pictures and videos are located in the "Removable Disk" drive. Here's the text from the owner's manual...
You can connect Kidizoom Camera™ to a PC using the included USB cable. Once connected, you can upload and download files to Kidizoom Camera™ by accessing your camera as a removable storage device. When Kidizoom Camera™ is connected to the PC, a new drive called “VTech 773” will appear on the PC. If there is also an SD memory card (not included) inserted into the camera when it is connected, two new drives will appear. One will be the “VTech 773” drive and the other will be a removable disk drive for the SD memory card.

How are u suppose to charge the vtech camera
I just read the "User's Manual". It recommends using 4 standard Alkaline AA size batteries. These are not re-chargeable. You can use Ni-Cad rechargeables, but I don't recommend it. They are of slightly lower voltage and this may cause you problems with the cameras operation. I recommend reading Page 3 of the "User's Manual".
