Dynex is a brand from BB which is very very poor for parts. It does have a problem, I would return it for a refund and look for a name brand. If I can be of any other help in your search for another one, please let me know.

Autoprogram for lcd hd tv keeps taking me back to autoprogram.
You may need a signal amplifier to get the signal strength to keep the television synchronized with the input signal. The television tuner is losing the signal and has to keep searching to find it. You can amplify the signal with a small cable signal amplifier. You can usually find these amplifiers in your local electronics store like Fry's or the Micro Center. They are adaptors that will hook up between the cable and the television input. Look for them under television cable signal amplifiers. You can also buy them on line. Just put the name in you favorite search engine and find the stores that sell them. If you are still in doubt about the amplifier. Make a call to the local or online store and ask them how they work and how to use them with you television. They will be glad to help you and make a sale . If this doe not solve your problem then you may have a problem with the signal input circuit and need a service technician to test it. They will be able to tell if if you need some repairs to fix it. If you have more question about this problem just ask and some one will help you. I hope this information help you with your problem.

TV screen went negative. Brand new TV
I would use the warranty for this problem. The part that need to be replaced can be somewhat expensive.
With the credit card statement, you can use that as a receipt.
No sound through the headphones
The way the headphone jack works is:
plug your headphones in and then mute the television using the remote.
While the TV is muted you can still use the volume up and down controls to adjust the volume through the headphones. I find that having the volume at 60-75% is more than loud enough on the headphones.
Just be careful when you unplug the headphones and take the TV off of mute, if your volume levels are still turned up you will be in for a jolt :)
I have a dynex dx-lcd37-02
Time Warner has about 8 different remotes. I have the UR3-EXP remote and the Emerson code 096 worked for me.
White Screen on Dynex LCD
Please stop buying these cheap things.....your out of luck. Parts are not available for these cheap chinnese sets....Thank Bill Clinton. Anyway, sound like the tuner going out. But....you can't get a tuner...Sorry. Just try using a vcr or cable box on video input and change channels that way.
External Sound Card
No, that's not going to work. Digital output is just that....Digital. Your trying to send a digital into analog....won't work. Your tv don't have red and white audio out. That's what you hook to, but it still wouldn't be 5.1. Your out of luck my friend. The ONLY way you'll get 5.1 out of that T.V. is to get a 5.1 reciever with CO-AX digital input...the SAME as whats on your T.V. You can only hook-up sound to your X-FI with the line in jack using a y-connector and 1/8" stereo plug....and it won't ever be 5.1. It can't that way. Only way to get 5.1 to work on the blaster is with the tosh-link optical input cable. This too is digital, but uses optics to send it. Remember, you are playing with 2 different formats. Analog with your white/red thing you made and then digital. Digital using co-ax or optical tosh-link. Completely different.....as you now know.
Initial set up w/directv
First, I hope you got an extended warranty with that. Otherwise it's a disposable T.V. after your warranty is up.NO PARTS are available. Hope it lasts more than a year..if your lucky. You need to change the channels on the direct tv box. Don't scan the t.v. You need the t.v. on channel 3 or video input that the box is connected to. Do you have hdmi cables? How did you hook the box to the T.V.? Did you read your book that came with the T.V. about hooking it up with a cable box??? Same thing as Direct T.V. box. That should show exactly how to connect. More info will help dtermind your problem.
DX-R20TR 20" Round TV/DVD Combo
I'm guessing its the "CC", closed captioning. You have to turn it off, it's either in your menu or you have a button the remote saying either, Text or CC.
