Frigidaire washer won't drain or spin. Makes noise when spin cycle begins. Any suggestions?

I see you are having trouble with your Frigidaire washer (GLTF2040ES0) not draining properly or spinning. Often, this is because your washer cannot dispose of the water and detergent solution. Will not read door closed

Many of these washers have had the door switch go bad. I would replace the door switch. Can find on Amazon for fair price.

GLTF2940ES0 frigidaire washer i have replaced door lock, woked for 1month then replaced main control board, would not spin or drain so replaced motor control board still will not spin or drain

I see that you are wondering what an error code 41 is on your Frigidaire washer, model# GLTF2940ES. Error code 41 means the control board thinks the door switch is open. The machine was sent to me and the manual is missing. the water continue to the drainer and i cannot wash. what will i do?

if it still has a warranty send it back to the sender and either ask for your money back or a replacement

E23 error code repair

DRAIN PUMP RELAY ON CONTROL BOARD FAILED E23.

WHEN THIS HAPPENS, CHECK THE WIRING TO AND FROM

THE DOOR LATCH, USE A MULTIMETER AND OHM IT. TO MUCH RESISTANCE WILL NOT SEND THE CORRECT SIGNAL TO CONTROL BOARD. AND THEN WHEN THAT DOESN'T DO IT
REPLACE CONTROL BOARD.

The error code chart indicates that this could be a water flow problem, too low of a drain hose height or an over-sudsing problem. Start new cycle on a cold cold setting if applicable. See if cold water comes in. Make sure your drain hose is higher than the top of the machine. When looking inside the glass door....do you see lots of suds?
