Frigidaire washer won't drain or spin. Makes noise when spin cycle begins. Any suggestions?
Good Afternoon Friend, thank you for your post!
I see you are having trouble with your Frigidaire washer (GLTF2040ES0) not draining properly or spinning. Often, this is because your washer cannot dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does your washer make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, your washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. Best regards - Z.

What is error code 41
Good Afternoon Donna,
I see that you are wondering what an error code 41 is on your Frigidaire washer, model# GLTF2940ES. Error code 41 means the control board thinks the door switch is open. You will want to make sure the door is closed. Reset your appliance by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker. When you restore power select any cycle and start it. If you are still receiving an error code 41, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this helps.
-Best Regards-

Starts then shuts off never fills w/h2o, says e23
Good Morning Mike, I am happy to assist you!
If you are getting an error code E23, it usually means one of three things: your drain pump relay has failed, a wire may be disconnected from the pump, or your main control board needs replacing. One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to your washer by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds. If the error code persists, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.

Frigidaire GLTF2940ES3 Error code 41. Controls cycle on and off randomly.
Hello Scott, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Based on the symptoms you are describing and if you are receiving an error code E41, your loading door may be ajar. Double-check to ensure that it is closed. If it is secure, reset the power again to your appliance for about ten minutes. If the error persists, it could either be the door switch assembly or the main control board in your appliance. In that case, a certified technician would generally replace the faulty part after proper diagnosis.
Best regards!
