Frigidaire GLTF1670A Front Load Washer - Page 4 Questions & Answers
I have a frigidaire LEQ2152ES0 Front Loading Dryer. The machine has started to squeek rather loudly. I've noticed a
It is so common that the washing machine can make
terrible noise in many ways and is a common fault. In all occasions it is
important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the
identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that machine is
vibrating when it is running then the motor /drum suspension has to be
inspected. Since these fittings are located on the underside of the machine it
is important that you look for the noise with a good inspection lamp. Manually
turn the motor and drum and listen for the noise, if so the motor bearings, the
drum agitator shaft and fittings must be checked. Also the suspensions which
include the shock absorbers and springs, the body clamps must be checked to be
in correct alignment and not changed in position. Tightening of the
mounting is also very important. Finally
in most cases a drop of OIL or smear of grease on the moving parts cane solve
most issues.

Thank You for using fixya
I have a frigidaire LTF2940ES3 front load washer.
There is no reset for this unit. Do you get any lights illuminated on the control panel at all?The lights should flash in a sequence to determine a error code. Here is the complete service manual for your machine. Your model is considered the "good model" in this manual which cover two different models. Look at page 61 of the manual to determine the error code and post it back to me. If you don't get any lights on the machine at all and you know you have power to the unit, then the control unit will need to be replaced.
Here is the link to the service manual. I will be waiting on your results.Regards,Richard
Agitator drum is loose and making loud knocking
Hope this helps..The bearing has been worn out already connecting the drum..The washer might be too old or has been used frequently loading what is more than sufficient.loading excess more than its capacity..
Model GLTF167A0S0 Serial XC22704657...
If the water is pumping out fine you may need new shocks. But if it is slow pump the shaft on the pump is loose and causing the noise and possibly the spin issue. If it is loud when it does go into a spin (sounds like a jet engine) you have bad bearings. Big bucks to fix.
Not draining an erro comes up E20 on it
E20 = draining issue. The most common problem is a blockage at the drain pump.
This can be checked by a DIYer with general hand-tools.
1st. Unplug the washer! We don't want to get shocked.
2nd. There is a lower panel on this unit which can be removed by removing two screws at the bottom. Remove this panel to gain access to the drain pump area.
3rd. Find a big diameter black hose coming from the bottom of the wash tub and follow it until it gets to a plastic housing with an electric motor sticking out the side. (there will be a smaller diameter hose coming out of this plastic housing as well this is your drain hose)
4th. Remove hose clamp on large black hose and remove hose from pump (water will flow! be ready)
5th. Check hose and pump for blockages... One of the most common is under-wires from the wife's bras. Spin impeller of pump to insure that it moves freely.
6th. Put it back together in reverse order of taking it apart. Try unit out by starting a cycle without clothes. Then put it in a spin cycle to see if water drains.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. Since the suspension is ok and it is level, check your drive motor and spin bearing. Usually, these are the trouble parts when loud noises are associated with the spinning cycle. Your drive motor controls the spinning. Since the noise is during spinning, that is probably where your problem lies.
