Hi golfergav66,
I see that you mentioned that you headset is only putting out Audio in Mono.
Manual check the manual link for the headset info, also you may need to check the settings of the Sound Card that you have to see if the setting from there is also set to Mono instead of stereo.
After checking Reviews about the Headphones that you have I believe the problem is not the headset but the source from what you are using, if the source where your are connecting the Headset is not capable of putting out Audio in stereo then the headset will also have a Mono output, Headsets do not have the capability to convert the output to stereo from any source.
On your Headset there are no Other Troubleshooting steps that can be done to produce a stereo output, but to check if the source produces a stereo output as well for the Headset to produce a stereo output. The stereo feature that your Headset has as what they say about the headset means that it basically is just a better Headset than any other that it can at least give more clarity with the Audio heard from it resulting into a much better quality than a regular headset but still does not make that big a difference since Audio still just is transferred from the source to you headset, it will only make a difference if your headset has it's own amplifier then I believe stereo Output can be adjusted and controlled on your headset for better performance and Audio output.
Unless there is something wrong with your headset, try going back to where you purchased it and try and see if a different headset of the same kind will be different from what you are experiencing on your headset. You mentioned you replaced the cable but still there was no change at all right.
I hope that this clears things out.
Thank you for choosing Fixya,
