Please help I can't ring out on my phone
Check for dialing tone by pressing 'Talk On' phone button. If no tone, check cord at base station and the phone socket is correctly plugged in at both ends using the original cord supplied.If still no dial tone, check the phone at another phone connection to establish if either the phone or the line is faulty. Why when I phone some one I can hear them but they cant heat me
You may have accidentally pressed the Mute button. Undo as below
Mute a Call:
You can talk to someone nearby without letting the caller hear you during a call. During a call: Press <C> t o mute the microphone and "MUTED" will display on the LCD.
Your caller cannot hear you. Press <C> again to unmute the microphone.

How do I increase the external ringing volume on a
Adjust Volume
There are 5 levels (VOLUME 1 to VOLUME 5) to choose from for the earpiece or speakerphone volume
During a call: Press <up/down> to select volume 1-5.
The current setting is displayed. When you end the call, the setting will remain at the last selected level.

How to extend ring
To extend the number of rings before your phone goes into the answer message option, change the settings for Answer delay option as described below.
You can set number of rings before your phone answer message kicks in. You can set answer message to begin after 2, 4, 6 or 8 rings.
1. Press <Menu> and up down to select ANS Machine
2. Press <OK> and <up/down> to select TAM Settings
3. Press <OK> and <up/down> to select ANSWER DELAY (OPTIONS: 2, 4, 6 OR 8 RINGS)
4. Press <OK> and <up/down> to select to select desired delay.
5. Press <OK> to confirm.

Binatone 1910 flashing not registered to base
Registration:
Instructions if you need to register handsets to the base:
You can register additional handsets to have up to five handsets per base unit, with each handset's number (1 to 5) shown on its display.
1. Press and hold <PAGE> on the base station for more than five seconds to put the base station into registration mode. (Note: there is no feedback to know it is in reg mode.) It will stay in registration mode for about 1 minute. So complete following sequence within this time. (It helps if handset is kept very near to the base during this).
2. Press <MENU> and <UP/DOWN> on the handset to select REGISTRATION.
3. Press <OK> and you are requested to enter the 4-digit system PIN.
4. Enter the 4-digit system PIN.
5. Press <OK> to confirm, and the display will show SEARCHING. If the handset registration is successful, you will hear a confirmation tone and the <antenna icon> will stop flashing. This may take a short while. The handset will automatically be allocated the next available handset number. This handset number is shown in the handset display in standby mode. If thehandset registration is unsuccessful, the <antenna icon> will still flash and the display will return to ' REGISTER', so you will need to repeat registration process.

When I answer I can hear the person but they can't
Ive got exact same problem and same phone! I hope there's a simple answer as my provider said I need to check its defo not the phone as if I call them out to check the line and it's actually the phone I get charged 99 pounds!! Eeek!
