turn down the water pressure on the water line to the washer if the water pressure is to high it will splash out of the filler. there should be a vale on the main water line to the washer.
My dryer starts but drum doesn't spin. what is this?
Unplug it and locate the access panel or remove the top lid. Look inside and see if the drive belt is busted.
If it is get the machine details off the sticker on the back and call an appliance spares shop or go online. Any good DIY person can change it.
Drum drive motor does not spin
No spin, try these:
Using a multi meter check for continuity the door switch, which when bad may not allow agitation or spin. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically.
Check the clutch, brake assembly and transmission, one way to check for slipping is to get under the machine after a spin cycle ( this is if u get a lil spin but not much leaving clothes still wet) mix in a spray bottle a lil water and some dish detergent, then spray it on the clutch assembly ( the metal round pc. Connected to the tranny) if it sizzles and steams up then u know its bad and slipping. Another way to check clutch if u get no spin at all? Is to take it out and use ur hand to try and turn the inner spring assembly pushing it around the inside? If its very easy, it BAD should be hard to push by hand.
Next check the motor coupler which engages the tub and tranny to the motor. ( if its bad u usually get no wash or spin or very little of either)
Next check for a loose, worn or broken belt if belt driven.
On some front load models u may need to check the STATOR assembly.
The stator is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the stator burns out the washer won't spin or agitate. Check the stator for continuity. This part is often misdiagnosed.
Door latch not working therefore cannot use.
Verlin, this is JK. I understand that you are having concerns with the door latch. Before considering contacting a service provider, I would recommend resetting the appliance by turning off the power to the washer for about five minutes. After the five minutes return power to the appliance, this should allow the washer to return to working condition. You may also want to check to ensure the door is aligned. If all of these suggestions pan out and the problem still persists, think about what may have happened prior to this occurrence. For instance, did you notice any error codes, odors, or other strange functions prior to this issue? Wash cycle does not complete itself,spin leaves

The water is drained at the end of each cycle by the drain motor.
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
Here are my complete, general pre-typed guidance notes for checking filters and motors ;-0)

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

I understand that your door indicates it is open and your dryer will not operate. Let's attempt resetting your dryer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is good to wait approximately ten minutes and turn on your dryer. Select a normal cycle and verify if your dryer will start. If your dryer will not operate then it possibly have a faulty door lock assembly or a communication problem with the control board. At this point, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.
What's stopping my dryer from running continuously

Please power cycle your dryer and attempt to run it again. If this fails, please ensure that your clothes are evenly distributed so that they weight of the clothes doesn't cause the dryer to be shutdown. Just to double check, please ensure that you've cleaned the lint track of your dryer. Lastly, you can use an power outlet extender to help switch the power outlet that you're using to run your dryer as there might be something wrong with your current one.

WHAT IS E11 ERROR CODE IN MICROWAVE FRIGIDAIRE
The E11 error code indicates a problem with the gas sensor DE32-60011A and or the wire harness DE39-40678D. Unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued the sensor. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it or try eBay, Amazon or similar sites . Search by using the manufacturers part number. Try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or a usable part for your machine.
