You will most likely need to move them to the file you want them in and then rename. Most printers will automatically place them in "scans". You can specify where to put them but since I don't know whether you are scanning to a flash drive or directly into the computer or which method you are using it's probably less confusion to just move and rename.

It sounds like a driver issue. Have you checked that bothcomputers have the correct driver for your printer?
Model RX595. how can I open the scanner?
First of all make sure you have connected your printer to your computer correctly. Then you click your printer icon either from your desk top or from control panel. You will get a page with various selection. If you want a document to scan, you click the document to file and you will see at right hand bottom page scan. You click on scan and it will scan. Make sure your printer in on and the printer cable is connected at USB port or the correct printer port. Some people connect it to Ethernet cable port!
Once it finished scanning you can either add page or save it with whatever name you wish to give.

Epson Stylus TX117. Why won't it print?
The user guide for this printer can be found here
Epson Stylus TX117 Manuals Documentation
see the section on troubleshooting - ink light continuously on n the second page. It instructs you to reseat the cartridges/check if they inserted fully and correctly. If the printer still does not work after doing this, remove the cartridges and re-insert them (on my printer there is procedure for replacing a partially used cartridge). Are your cartridges genuine Epson and within use by date ? Some printers can detect these things and fail to function. Although compatible non-OEM (ie non Epson) are usually ok sometimes they are not.
If none of the above apply, contact Epson support

How to install Epsom dx4700
First, ensure printer is OFF. You can leave the power lead connected and the USB cable too as if the printer is switched OFF, it will not be seen by the computer. Go to the
www.epson.com website, click to access your World location, then go into the Support area and Downloads - and download the Printer Driver (and any other things you feel could be useful, like say Epson Print) and once downloaded, click to run the installation programme. Follow through, step by step (it guides you all the way) and power on the printer when told to connect it. The rest should then follow automatically. Ensure a few sheets of A4 office-type paper is in the printer and look for and run the Test Print facility to check all working OK.
I get an error message telling me that the service life of some parts are coming to an end
That is because the internal counter for the Waste Ink Pads has reached its maximum. The printer is fine. Ideally, you should fit a Waste Ink Bottle drain device (simple and cheap) - check
www.youtube.com to find a video to show how - most printers are covered by enthusiasts. You can reset the counter - if you are based in the USA, you can get a free reset utility for your model from their
www.epson.com website. However, that will ONLY work with USA printers - meaning those that have a USA Serial Code. It cannot be used for even exactly the same printer model anywhere else in the World and trying to use, perhaps, a USA friend's number for same printer will simply get rejected when trying to install. If outside of USA,
www.google.com a search for Waste Ink Counter and you will find a suitable (for your location) provider of a Waste Ink Counter reset utility for a small sum.

There are several issues that can cause these anomalies where its not printing the full document. First, some people download PostScript drivers when their machine only handles PCL drivers. Secondly, sometimes the document itself has corrupt data and as it transfers that document to the machine, there is problems.
I suggest you open a PDF document and attempt to print it. If that document, and other documents print fine, then you know your error lies in corruption inside that particular document.
If you suspect that document is corrupt, there is several things you can do to potentially fix it. First, save the document in PDF form. This causes it to layer to one single layer and can more than likely solve the problem "temporarily" if you need the document quickly.
The second fix comes when you save the document in a different format. For instance, let's say you have Microsoft Office 2013. And this is a "word" document. Save it in XPS format, then close down Word. Re-start Word and then open that document that is saved in XPS. Now, click File Save As, and then re-save this as a Standard Word Document. Sometimes, this corrects the corrupted document.
The last alternative is, HOPEFULLY you have saved this document previously as other names. Re-open the older document, and TEST IT FIRST to make sure it is printing OK. Then, make your additional edits WITHOUT PASTING EDITS FROM CORRUPTED DOCUMENT. Re-save the document making sure to create a completely new name and NOT just save over existing document. Then attempt to print it out. This should solve the problem if it is a corrupted document.
If its becuase you have a PostScript Driver, then uninstall that driver, do to Epson's website and download the CORRECT PCL driver that corresponds with your operating system, ie Windows 7 Professional 64 bit... I hope this helps...
No commumication with my laptop
You should be able to resolve that by doing the following. You did not mention what operating system but assuming Windows, turn off the Printer power then use Start - Control Panel - Printers and click on the printer icon and Delete (use the keyboard key - or right click for menu to do this). Then reinstall using your CD and power the printer ON when so instructed during the install process. One point - it could be beneficial before you do this to go to the Epson website
http://www.epson.com - select your location (different countries can have different drivers for the same model!!) then download your drivers, etc. so that you have the latest versions - then use the downloaded file(s) for the reinstallation.
