Frigidaire 5 cu. ft. / 142 liter Chest Freezer FFC05C2A Questions & Answers
Does not get cold
Hello bprice7777 - When was the last time you cleaned the condensers? You may do so by removing the toe grille and use extended vacuum attachment and condenser cleaning brush to remove dust buildup from condenser coils usually located on the left side underneath. If you hear the compressor running and if it is providing warm air then that means it is operating correctly and the sealed system is removing heat from the cabinet. Fan motor/evaporator may be the primary issue. However, if you do not hear the compressor and the unit is blowing room temperature then the unit may possibly have a sealed system leak, faulty compressor or overload relay. Also try checking and see if the door seal is bad; place a dollar bill between the body of the freezer and close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocked by anything stopping it from closing it. If any suggestion proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Most likely it isn't the suction but moisture on your seal freezing to the frame. Suggest a putty knife with a hair dryer blowing hot air on the blade and working it around the seal.
Turned off freezer, because didn't need to use it.
Good day,
If you can hear it running but does no cooling then either you have lost the refrigerant charge, or the system has developed a restriction somewhere in the lines. It will require the attention of a professional.. If the machine is under 5 years of age, then the factory will cover the repair.
Call your selling dealer for a warranty repair.
Not getting Cold
Good day,
You didn't say if it runs. The machine when it does run is still very quiet. With it on, if you can hear it running. You may have to put your ear up to the machine. If so, then in the move you caused a refrigerant leak. The leak could be anywhere in the machine including areas that cannot be reached.
If however, they are lines that run on the outside of the machine, they can be repaired by a qualified tech, but the repair would be pricey.
If it is not running, I would check around the compressor area for a wire that was knocked off.
