the reason for this is that you dont have the apropriate video CODEC . you can download VLC player and make it your default media player, it opens allmost every thing :

You may need to use the diskpart command from the commanline on a Windows computer. Google "format disk fro m command line". Careful, you can ruin the computer if you do this wrong.

You say memory card... if that is so then look at the side of the card itself, you will see a little tab yellow in color maybe. Turn over the card to make sure you can read the info next to this tab; which should show an arrow and the word LOCK. Slide that tab in the opposite direction to unlock it.

Hello, some older equipment only supports the SD card, not the SDHC one which although the same size and connections, functions differently. I think max size for a SD card is 2GB.

in gonna wanna be set to external storage or memory card

Please keep the sandisk in to the USB port of system/laptop,
select the files what you want to send to sandisk, then rightclick on the selection. Then goto "Send to" option. In that you will find your sandisk. Select the drive of sandisk.

System will send the fiels to memory card.
