Do you have a digital HD box from your provider? If so you need to turn the tv off, power down the box and press simultaneously the top 2 buttons on the box, this brings up a screen on the tv follow the directions to reset. Hope this helps
Audio box flashes on screen {mono/stereo}
For some using composite wires instead of the coaxial may not be a possible because you use the red,white,and yellow spaces for your xbox or playstation. Here is another solution if you use digital cable or a similar cable box. This may work for many other cable boxes. Go to your cable box's settings and look for an option to change your "Audio Range". which is probably right now set on either "normal" or "narrow". If this option is on "narrow" then change it to normal and monitor the results. If you continue to recieve this problem then change the setting again to "wide". This should eliminate the box all together. If anything you might only see it once or twice in the entire day instead of ever 20 secs like mine was. I sincerely hope this is helpful.. Let me know.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

I have no sound on my sharp aquos 60" TV.
We have the same TV. In settings for sound you need to select the port directing where you want sound to play. It may be that it is currently setup to play to a sound bar.
