The frigidaire freezer control are very prone to failure. You will need to order a new one. They are very easy to install. Just unplug freezer, grab flat blade and pop loose evenly on top and bottom.

Water on floor

Check your drain hose that leads to evaporator pan. The hose should be in the pan. If it is in pan, then check to see if all door gaskets are tight and no leaks or gaps. This likely is the problem assuming you don't have a leak in the water line leading to ice maker. Try these things first and then we wll move to the next possible solutions.

Frigidaire upright freezer door will not seal

Hi Chris, this is AP! Thank you for your post. I understand you are having trouble with the door sealing on your upright freezer. Many times this can be caused by the freezer not being leveled. If the freezer is not leveled during installation, the door may be misaligned and not close or seal properly, causing cooling, frost, or moisture problems. To level your upright freezer use a carpenter's level to level the freezer from front-to-back. Adjust the plastic leveling feet in front, 1/2 bubble higher, so that the door closes easily when left halfway open. I hope this information has been helpful.

Lo conecte un instante a la 220 volt por error y ahora no funsiona ?que le pasa?

if you connected a 110 v unit to 220v out more than likely you would have damaged the control circut. but if didnt hear anything pop or burn try it in the correct outlet. If its responding then you need a service person to test the components.

STOPPED RUNNING

Hello Warner, thank you for your post! Typically when a freezer displays "OFF" it means that the temperature control is in the off position. When this occurs the temperature control turns off the compressor, but does not disconnect the power to the light bulb or other electronics. Let's try re-activating your freezer by pressing the UP arrow until display shows "4" or desired setting. If the issue persists, then the freezer could possibly be experiencing a communication issue with the control board, temperature control or a potential wiring failure. At this point, I suggest reaching out to an appliance expert who is best equipped to pinpoint the exact problem. Best of luck!

Freezer indicator

Good Afternoon Larry, thank you for allowing me to assist you! I understand your freezer is showing "OFF". This typically means that the temperature control is in the OFF position. When this occurs the temperature control turns off the compressor, but does not disconnect the power to the light bulb or other electronics. Let's try reactivating the freezer by pressing the UP arrow until the display shows "4" or desired setting. Allow 24 hours for temperature to stabilize. For future reference you can lock the control to keep from accidently changing the temperature setting. I hope these troubleshooting tips help you in some small way. I ask that you please follow up with a comment, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your freezer status has changed successfully. I hope this proves to be helpful to you.

Could be frozen. Use a hair dryer on the lock assembly and the edge of the lock. After it's hot, push the freezer door in and try the lock then.

The number on the door says 8. and the coldest

Hello Leigh, thank you for your post! I understand you are seeking information on what the number eight means on your Frigidaire freezer. May I please have the model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located inside the cabinet, on the left side wall. With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you!
