Hi there, I know that most units have a drip tray at the back or under the unit itself. well the older ones anyway, not sure with really new ones, but they shoukd. these trays hod water condensation and any drainage from the fridge itself. Sounds like the pat test fried the pcb. They use too high a voltage to test the appliance wiring and it doesn't do printed boards much good!

Is this still the drain pan question? It may be sat on top of the compressor, clipped over the pipework and sat in a metal loop Ease it back and up / off clean in the sink or dishwasher and refit. If you can't get it off, spray it with antibacterial surface cleaner and wipe with soft tissue.
