I used to work with spy sweeper very often at my old job and I ran into this every now and again. Generally Spy Sweeper would need to be re-installed, or installed over to fix this. I recommend going to their website, and downloading the most recent version of the software. You should then be able to install the software, and it should turn your spy sweeper off and write over the bad files. If this doesn't fix your issue, I would recommend uninstalling your current version of SS w/AV and then once again installing from the website.

Most software comes with a one-use license.
This means that you will need to purchase an additional license for every pc which you wish to have it installed to.
If you have done away with your old pc, and only want it on your new pc, you can call webroot, and have them de-activate the previous installation, and that way it will be cleared for installation onto your new pc.
If it is a multiple license disc, (it would say so on the packaging) then you should be good to run the installation from disc on up to three different computers.
If there are problems with registration, you are pretty much locked into calling webroot for assistance.
Cheers!
OK SO MY MOM BOUGHT THE PRODUCT AND SHARED IT WITH
Go to a better anti-virus program that is free. Go to www.filehippo.com and dowload Avast. When you install it you can register it as a free version for a year and then re-register it as a free version next year. Avast works very well with the Windows Firewall and it is easily the best anti-virus out there.
These days, you must have a good security system on your PC; get Avast or whatever else you like at
FileHippo, but do not delay. Tell you Mom about Avast *** well; it is better than Webroot in my opinion.
I have webroot antivirus and spysweeper on this
He is learning the hard way!!
Install "malwarebytes" free from the internet (Best free anti-spyware on the net) / install / update / full scan / remove everything that shows.
My strong advice is to PAY for an anti-virus program as they are far superior to free ones.
Rphelper.exe keeps popping up When I hit block it
Erase the software in its entirety and reinstall it again
If this problem persists, you may need to clean out your pc of any software corruption ( I recomend downloading Tune-up utilites) and scan your computer for viruses and malicious software (going to Kapersky.com and download Internet Security and run it)
This should remove all software issues if the initial reinstallation of Spysweeper doesnt work
I hope this helps
