What lights ? And won't start how ? The clicking is more then likely a relay or a module of some sort . When you turn the key to the start position does the start engage an spin the motor ? Or nothing happens , a crank no start or no crank no start !

is it electric shift? if ya it mite be the shifter motor. if no it can or mite be vacume lines.

First make sure the fluid is full. If it is then you have internal problems. Possibly the linkage or oil pressure .

By indicator lamps ,you mean warning lamps (check engine,oil,battery, air bag,etc ?

sounds like you have a coolant leak, if coolant is low it will cause both of your symtoms as to where it is coming from, there are many places but common ones are hoses/clamps, water pump or radiator.

you need to turn ignition on and leave key in on position for ten minutes then turn key off then back on again for another ten minutes then one more time for a total of three times or 30 minutes and the system should relearn the key. i have a 2001 chevy z-71 5.3L. I keep getting a random/multiple misfire code for cylinder 1 . I have replaced plugs, wires, coil pack(only on #1 cylinder)., and fuel pump. I still keep getting the cylinder 1 misfire code. I put truck on a scanner and watched the cylinders. # 1 misfires at idle but quickly stops misfiring at around 1000 rpms. you can here the engine miss at idle but truck runs great on road . anyone else ever had this problem?

I just had the same issue with a 1999 2500HD and the vibration got worse above 50 mph. Problem was resolved with a new driveshaft. Old one (aluminum) was badly out of true and the problem didn't really occur until I had the U joints changed - then bent driveshaft vibration was noticeable. New driveshaft resolved issue.

are there splines on both ends ? .... the splines will go toward the transmission.

check the actuator motor on the heater sounds like the motor is not directing the air as it should. The motor is in the center of the truck inside attached to the heater and has arms on it to move the heater and ac doors.

the mass air flow sensor is located between the air filter housing and the air inlet to the intake manifold, remove the two band clamps holding the maf sensor, clean when cold with CRC mass air flow sensor,remember to take off the three wire plug to the maf sensor,get back to me if you need more help,please rate my fix as i strive to be the best,problems,get back to me

If it ran before then check your work, a wire may be off from somewhere.
