if you have had to do a reset then all information will usually be wiped. Not sure what you can do to retrieve and contacts that were stored locally. to help in the future you can download some backup programs which will allow you to backup to SD card or computer. Also if you make sure your contacts are stored to your google account you should be able to retrieve those next time you have to reset. You will also find all your apps in the play store ( My Apps ) and you can choose which ones to install again.

The charger is working. Your Battery won't take a charge. Does the tablet work when it is plugged in? If so, your battery is not holding a charge anymore. Low budget tablets are famous for this. My daughter has had two that are dead. Both a little over a year old. You can take it to the Microsoft store and see if they have another charger and see if it charges. Otherwise it's the battery.

Speak to the person you have bought it from, if you have the guarantee shouldn't be a problem.

If you can't just turn it on after it's been charging, you need to get it fixed or replaced. No reason why you can't go though warranty on that, waste of money if you don't.

Try different chargers, different outlets in your house. Try rebooting the tablet. Try factory reset. If nothing works, your charging port is broken.

You could have stated your storage systems to better evaluate the cause. However, most of the time, download failures on Androids are either caused by; 1.) Insufficient memory on download directory 2.) Firmware Errors If the first is the case, it will help if you transfer all or few of your downloaded softwares to a higher capacity storage like your SD Card. You can find this at Application Settings on your android deveice. If the second is the case, the best solution is to Hard Reset your Android (factory reset). I know when my zeki stopped working I saw that there was a place on the side to reset you push it in with a paperclip just for a few seconds and this reset the zeki, other than taking it in a repair shop and having the whole thing set back to when you 1st purchased it. I hope this helps Mary

Just got off the phone with support!1. battery must be fully charged first.2. power on the device.3. locate and hold the volume down button while using a safety pinpress and hold the reset in until it starts booting, release the resetbutton and hold the volume down button for 10 seconds then release.4. if you are not prompted to factory restore, repeat step 3 but this timehold volume button for 15 seconds after booting.when you get to the restore prompt you must use the volume + or -to navigate and the power button to select. hope this helps!
