Front panel audio and front usb not working on my windows 7
Is it because you installed windows 7 or what. cause that problem may have been caused by drivers or the front panel cables were not installed correctly. and some motherboards require some juper to configured to enable sound output

My asus P5GC-MX/1333, cpu fan ok, board led ok but
It's evident you have access to the m/b and it is getting power. No display narrows troubleshooting to a minimum. Make certain your computer is off, unplug it and press the power for a few seconds to dispel the residual charge in the power supply. With good light and a magnifying glass look over all the capacitors for signs of leaking and bulging. The tops of the capacitors should be flat or slightly concave. If any capcacitor is rounded on top, leaks or shows any problem, then that would be the cause. Most of us do not have the proper equipment to successfully remedy this and simply buy/build another computer that is up-to-date. Lacking a problem with the m/b capacitors, I would go next to troubleshoot a bad RAM module and/or m/b RAM recepticle. Following the above safety precautions, remove one RAM module and attempt to boot up, use the other in the same slot if that fails. Then use each, one at a time in the other slot (it appears there are only two slots on this m/b). If a RAM module is bad, it only needs to be replaced. If a recepticle is bad, but the other works, you may want to buy a 2 GB module to put in that slot to run your system. Try another hard drive to see if the computer will boot, though if you can't boot to the BIOS, this would be grasping for straws. If none of this proves out, it is beyond my expertise.
