How to connect behringer ms16 monitors to a xenyx q8o2usb?
Hello, i've read and watched the manual and the xenyx itself and what. there is to understand if you just read everything. Your speakertje come at the output of your xenyx and that thing you can use as audio source or put your soundsources in your mixer and just play it.
- Built-in stereo USB/Audio Interface to connect directly to your computer. Free audio recording, editing and podcasting software plus 150 instrument/effect plug-ins downloadable at behringer.com
So just use the mixer as your audio interface and your ready. The xenyx is nice for the money, the ms-16 which they call 'studio'-monitots is offcourse nonsens. Nice sounding laptop speakers are they, but in a home studio you need at least speaker 400euro/piece , but you can play with this nicely.
Power supply
Yes you can, but there are 2 important considerations. One is if the adapter puts out AC or DC signal. Adapters may have the same plug on them and putting the wrong one on could permanently damage your equipment. The other thing to look for is amperage, or an A rating. You may see something like 9V DC 2A on an adapter. If you are replacing a damaged adapter, look on it before you try a new one. Most all adapters have printed on them, by the plug, what their voltage, amperage, and AC or DC output are. Try to get the closest possible match. If you are off a bit on the amperage, the equipment may still work, but may act sluggish, or not like it is powered up all of the way. You could still damage the equipment this way too, so do be careful.
How to connect Behringer qx1200 mixer with pc and
the mixer connects to the pc via usb or analogue i/p's
the mixer does not connect to the pc speaker
this has to be done with the software you're running on your computer
the easiest way is..plug the headphone o/p into any amplifier line i/p
( amp and speakers or powered monitors ) and forget about the pc speaker ..they're sh!te period ..or you can plug the headphone
o/p into the mixer then the mixer into an amp but this is more complicated and you will need to read up on it
but do yourself a favour and get some small multimedia speakers
