I know the problem, but the manufacturer will not sell internal repair parts. The temp sensor ( a thermister ) that tells the computer the cooking temp and regulates the heating element is open. If anyone knows how to get parts I would love to have that info.
My Breadman Ultimate TR2200C stopped kneading. I checked the Problem & Solution board and saw the listing regarding
Check to see if the power cord gets power to the machine. Often, that is a problem for a number of small kitchen or household electrical appliances. Replace it if not functioning, OR, if you can find where the break in ythe line is ( if that's the problem), you can cut off part of the cord at the break and re-attach the cord to the machine. Hopefully, THAT'S the problem ( or maybe a fuse or reset switch/button). The worst would be if the motor field coil windings burnt. Also, inside the motor, maybe the carbon contacts to the motor's armature may just need to be replaced.
Breadman ultimate....power but blank screen
(N.B. I think there may be two variants of the Ultimate Plus, TR2500BC. They can be
distinguished by the number of rivets in the pan, 3 or 4. Mine has 3.)
I had a similar problem. Holding down the Reset button and plugging
or unplugging the machine didn't work for me. (Note: I've been
pretty careful to hold the Reset button when I unplug the machine
after baking a loaf.) This procedure worked for me:
1. Unplug the machine.
2. Remove the plastic keypad housing. There are three screws: left,
right, rear. (Note: One has a different thread from the others.)
3. Rock the housing back and forth to remove it.
4. Remove the white protective cover. It has two screws.
5. (You *did* unplug the machine, didn't you?)
6. Identify the ribbon cable and locate where its connector seats on
the circuit board.
7. The circuit board has little printed labels opposite each pin.
At one end are the labels GND, VCC, VDD, in order.
8. Short together GND and VCC with a small piece of wire by sticking
the ends of the wire into the top of the connector to touch the contacts.
9. Do the same with GND and VDD.
10. The machine should work now. With the keypad housing, circuit
board, and cables safely away from the metal body, plug the machine in.
You should hear a beep, and all should be well.
11. Rejoice, be glad, and make some bread.
I lost my instruction manual and need to download
I maintain a database of bread machine manuals. I have checked my files and I do have an electronic copy of your bread machine manual. I charge a small fee for the work that goes into finding, scanning, creating, maintaining and providing them. If you are interested email me at

Be sure to show the maker and model # of your bread machine in the email so I know which one to send. I get many requests and I need to know which machine manual you need.
Thanks, and Happy Baking!

I think you're going to have to take out the seal and put a new retaining ring on the shaft to keep it from falling out the bottom. If you're lucky you'll be able to pull out the old seal without destroying it.
A 5/16" external retaining ring should do the trick. Hardware store or Lowes should have 'em. Depending on how difficult you find it to force the ring down into the well in the pan to put in the shaft's groove, you may need a retaining ring pliers. The cheap ones from Harbor Freight (around $3) work fine.

Common issue with certain make and models spanning the last 25 years. It's nothing more than non-toxic food-safe shaft-to-seal lubricant leeching out into your finished loaf. Nothing wrong per say, and there's really no fix.
Hope this helps!
