I have an old Casio

To reset the watch, you need to 'short' the reset point with the battery. To do this, with the watch face down and the back removed the 'Reset' point is in the bottom right hand corner (a gold-coloured contact point). Use a pair of metal tweezers or an unbent paper-clip (anything as long as it's metal and will touch the reset point and the back of the battery at the same time). Maintain contact for about 5 seconds and you should get the display back.I've just changed the battery in my SDB 500W and the above method worked. I did lose the audible 'beep' though and I'm currently on the net trying to find how to get it back. That's how I found your question... :)

JAGA AD0919

Press and hold the mode button. Does a digit flash? If not try a "set" button. Once you get a digit flashing, you use one of the other buttons to change the digit. You can't do any damage so experiment.

I have a vintage Bulova watch that I'm trying

Bulova began using a series of codes in the late 40's to date watches, look on your case for a letter followed by a number, the letter designates the decade,A=40's,L=50's,M=60's,.N=70's,P=80's,T=90's and the following number designates the year, an example would be,M4 would indicate 1964. Hope this helps, the serial numbers are used for identification purposes only

Curtis and Co. Big Time 3 zone watch w/ temp

Crown(stem) at 10 O'clock has air inlet for temperature, does not move. Crown at 8 O'clock is for setting 3rd time zone next to it. The two buttons on the right of the case, above and below, set 2nd time zone which is at the 6 O'clock position of the large dial. To set #2 push top button till min. hand moves 1 min., then push bottom button to move 1 min each time or hold for rapid movement. Large crown sets date and large dial. Unscrew it (counterclockwise) then pull out to first click, then set date turning crown clockwise, continue to pull out till 3rd click which is where you set the time on the large dial.

I purchased a Cote d'

One of the dials should be seconds so you won't be setting that, the other two should be day and date, when you pull the stem and crown all the way out you can set the time there is a halfway setting ( pull the stem halfway out) if you turn one way it's the day of the week the other way is the date. Hope this helps! Also what appears to be a second hand on the dial a lot of times is actually a stopwatch.
