My Honeywell Enviracare 13520. the problem is that I can't get the handle to loosen.

Are you really unscrewing it? (to the left)? If not, then perhaps put a hammer handle on the handle at the outside rim and thump the hammer with the palm of your hand..

I have a Honeywell HPA050 air purifier. Both filter lights started blinking, so I changed both filters; however, I cannot get the red filter lights to stop blinking. I've held them pushed in, I've unplugged the unit...the lights are still blinking. Help!

Ignore the lights. Wash the outer foam filter every two months. As long as air is going through the inner filter does not need to be changed. Blow the inner filter out FROM THE INSIDE with your vacuum cleaner. (blow air the opposite direction of air flow to get the nasty stuff off.)

What is this burning smell from my Honeywell air purifier

am sorry to disappoint you, once this condition is reached, it means the motor windings have overheated and your motor needs to be replaced, This is the only best thing to do to rectify this situation. This indicates that the insulation covering the wire used to make the winding of the motor has been cooked by the overheating and it is shorting out ,THIS WILL CAUSE THE MOTOR CATCH FIRE. Please unplug the unit and have the motor replaced or buy a new unit for your safety.
