There are 3 possible conditions a HiFonics amplifier will go into protection -
Ground Loop - Blown or damaged speaker causing damaged Output FET.
Power Supply Failure - Blown Capacitors, Damaged FETs, Faulty Relays.
Thermal Shutdown - Excess Heat.
Mono channel amplifiers are the simplest to work on - and I would Estimate a repair cost of $75USD if it is a simple FET replacement.
Look at one hour of labor plus parts.
