Hi there. Try cleaning the thermopile, it must be free of soot or any other form of dirt, the pilot flame should be of good quality, as well as the gas pressure.

The thermopile is the cylindrical shape piece of metal standing behind the pilot assembly. The pilot assembly is the one that we light up with igniter or lighter during the fryer start up .

The gas valve isn't cutting off fully. Call for service. Only gas certified engineers can work on gas appliances. ..

Usually needs the thermocouple replacing. As it is a gas fryer, it has to replace by a gas certified technician. Please don't type in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and more difficult to read.

When the pilot goes out and won't stay lit is is usually because the Thermocouple safety device has failed. The burners should never be on when the thermostat is off. That is incredibly dangerous. You need a gas registered service technician.

No, there is no drip pan. If the oil is leaking from the drain spout, you can screw a plug in it. If it is leaking from the tank around the burner tubes.... then you need a new fryer.
