There is another solution to the radio being locked up you can try,,, If you look REALLY hard under the volume knob of your radio on the front there is a VERY small reset button. This worked for me last time, if this doesnt work then try calling them. If there originally was NO code number entered than this will work. Good luck, let me know how it turns out.

You will need to get the papers that came with your car, search all the documents that came with the car, the code to reset your car radio is written on one of the documents that came with your car. If you cannot get it, you will need to get the serial number on your radio and contact the dealer for the reset code, because, the dealers have the reset code, but you will need to tender prove of ownership before this can be done.

The problem is that "code" is only available electronically inside the actual radio
OR
With the original owners manual and paper work that came with your vehicle


that being said... if you go to your local Jeep dealer and tell them your situation and PRAISE the Jeep product they may hook up the scan tool and retrieve the code for you for free

Tell them that if you have to spend $50+ to retrieve the code you will just go buy an aftermarket radio

you have to call eclipse. your head unit is locked and you have to get tech support to unlock it. if you bought it from someone and just installed it good luck. if you bought it brand new and have the receipt or box you'll be in a better position to get some help but without those you're not going to get too far

the unit is locked up eclipse has a feature called esn or eclipse security network. you use a cd to program a passkey that only the owner knows. then if it is stolen the unit is useless. unless you know the right cd cool huh? if the unit is registered to you they will help you unlock it but if not they wont. cool huh. kinda makes you feel good that even if someone does steal your radio they cant use it.. ever.. eclipse also offers a one year theft guarantee out of the box if you register it with them. cool huh..

you'll have to remove the unit and take the cover off to remove disc manually Check that it works normally before refitting unit back in dash

I have the same problem what the F@#k is that?? usually you just push the reset button under the volume know(very small) but, this is not working for me, maybe will work for you.

you will need to call the dealer the car was purchased from to get it if its not in the car somewhere.

most head units wiring are universal. red-ignition, black-groung, yellow-12v battery....ect. Go buy an install kit for your truck, make sure it's the right year, and trust me, it'll make life easier.
