I have a riptide st 80 24 volt bow mount co-pilot.

Start to look for the charge state of your battery. Measure the voltage on the battery connectors when the motor falls out. If lower than 11v your battery is too weak. Also check all the cables between battery and motor. Check foor loose connection or oxidation.

How to align the prop and nose (bottom) with the handle (top)

FISH307 com Fishing Tackle Superstore This is a link that will allow you to look at a schematic for you motor. Minn Kota hand control motors have a small nut/bolt thru the motor shift aligning the handle with the lower unit. If yours does not line up your either missino this bolt or a previous owner altered the motor. Hope this helps.

Mounting a sonor/transducer on a MinnKota Riptide ST

Did the unit come with a strap to mount the transducer to a bow mount electric? Most units do... If not there is probably one available for the unit as an aftermarket accessory or accessory from the manufacturer... Regarding the transducer wire, just wrap and rout this up the front of the bow mount motor shaft so when you pull the motor up and secure it, it is not going to get in the way. You could cable tie the cord down near the bottom of the shaft and one up near the top where they wont interfere with the motor bracket when the motor is positioned up on the boat.

Does not tun on low

Hi,

The speed selector seems to be defective. It should be tested/check. Apart from this you may need to change the control board.

Batteries are full load, checked

The symptoms which you experience are as a result of poor wiring or contact to or from the batteries. It is possible that when the mechanic tried to tighten the unit he tampered one of the cables of the unit. Simply get a better mechanic to examine the power connection cables to and from the unit. The problem is as a result of partial contact so should not be too hard to fix all you need is just careful examination.
hope this solution has been helpful?

Trolling motor will not operate.

it seems like you have a short have you taken it apart sometimes a wire can fray and it will cause things to act funny see if there is a loose wire you can also use a digital meter to see if you have continuity on both ends of one wire disconnect wire so nothing is hooked to it an select continuity or the beep noise indicator and hold on both ens of wire this will let you know if there is a break in the wire it should beep if it is good

I have a minkk kota riptide salt water bow mount

Many times on the battery lead, actually the part that tightens to the battery, has a circuit breaker. You will notice a small reset button on each positive lead....of course there are two for a 24v system. Reset each one!

Bad control board

If the voltage on your boat's plug drops down to .8v, then the problem is almost certainly in the boat. Trace the wires. You probably have a corroded wire connection somewhere. If there is a fuse in the circuit, check it and it's holder very closely.

I have a Minnkota Riptide 80# thrust trollmotor.

1. possibly a broken connection to the motor where the propeller is located. 2. Also could be a bad motor. 3. Look for a fuse location for a possible blown fuse to the motor. 4. motor brushes could be the problem.

I have a 74LBS thrust trolling motor that hasn't

Here is a picture of the wire connection for 24 volt. Compare to yours is it correct? If it is, I wish you listed make and model I could of sent you the right picture diagram of you motor. Use this picture as a starting point. Test the wires through the motor testing for 24 volts. Again if I knew make and model I could show you exactly were. Last if voltage is correct all the way through. The motor is the last thing to tear down. If the brushes or armeture is damaged in anyway, or manufactured wrong, it would lead to power loss.
