Hi, It is very normal. Connect your PC with internet Activate your Norton security. Update the product through internet. Reboot the system. Then scan your full system and clean viruses and all unsecured thing of system. Again reboot the system. Then it will be shown as protected.

Hi, If you are having problems with the re-installation of the Norton product. I can help you re-install it again on the computer. First you need to verify that there should be no other Antivirus installaed on the computer. If none is installed, just go this link for standard edition. and go to this link for premiere edition. Just make sure that you have your product key. And if you don't have it. log on to Mynortonaccount.com, then log in using your email and password. then you should be able to get the product key. hi..download the software from the site itself and then upon installation it will try to look for serials then it is time to register yours..using your other registered pc you may be able to get the serials by opening it and check the ABOUT tab..

You should be able to restore your Norton by using the installation CD. If you don't have a CD and you downloaded it from their website, simply log into their website and they will have it on file for you, along with the installation code. If this does not work for you, you will have to contact their customer service for further installation instructions. Their service number is posted on their site.

if you remember the email ID which you have used to register the product you will be able to recover the password. and product key. if you do not remember the password, click on forgot password, and they will send you the password to your email account.
