It is weird. Just try to repair it or uninstall install. If it does not work just download a new antivirus form internet and try again with it. And also clean and scan. As I said always if you got a dangerous attack from a virus you need to format your whole operating system for best. But if you don't have time etc. you can either do like I said above or you can also reset your system to a time before this attack happened. If that resetting does not work, just try to reset your system to a month before or more before. If all the things does not help you as i said just format your whole operating system.

Download the latest version of N360 from this Link. The web page says after NRT usage but this applies to your situation also.
Make sure you have your product key handy (written down) or stored online in www.mynortonaccount.com . Also, please make sure your system has all the MS updates and patches / Service Packs applied BEFORE you install N360.

Double click on the downloaded file and it will instruct you on the installation. Input the product key when asked or use the link on the bottom of the displayed window to find your key online and apply it.

After installing, run Live Update until it says there are no more updates found. Enjoy Norton 360.

Uninstall the product or product remains from the Hard drive, check there are no folders in the HDD or the registry and then install the software again.

Uninstall all your anti-virus... including Norton and mcafee...

the Norton 360 that you have need to be register to an e-mail in order for it to work, you can try different e-mail address that you have so that you can access the www.mynortonaccount.com and click on the lost password link so that if one of you e-mail is registered it will send you a link to reset password to go to that site, it will give you the product key in side your norton account. so when you call up norton just asked for the link to download the N360 program and use the product key inside the norton account..

The software may have become corrupted.
Uninstall and reinstall Norton again.

you can auto renew right ni the program but the best way is honestly to go adn purchase a new version from walmart or right off of symantec.com. reason for this is new features, changes and sometimes they fix bloating issues.
