Quickbooks Pro 2007 Printing Blank Invoices
Go 'Lists' and then open 'Templates', double click on the product invoice and make sure the invoice is 'Active'.
Qbooks saves printer settings for each feature, regardless of which is set as 'default' in Windows...be sure you have the correct printer selected.
If the above are set correctly, go to HP's website and download the latest driver for your printer.

QB Pro 07 - I entered an amount due in the Vendors
I would enter a bill for the $6.00. When you paid the original bill and added $6.00, QB simply thought you were overpaying and is probably carrying a $6 credit as a prepay.

ActiveX Control problem in QuickBooksPro2007
It seems that you are not able to run activex control because of high security settings on internet explorer.
open internet explorer, go to tools and then click on internet options.
Go to security and change the setting to medium or low which should allow the activex to download

Files are saved to a CD for backup but will not
The files are set to read only on the CD. If you would like to open them, please copy / paste the files to your PC and open them from there.
To rectify this in the future, please set the file permissions on the files before you burn them, and remoce the Read Only attribute.

After pc crash, transferring qb pro 2007 to new pc
once you install intuit on your new pc or new harddrive open the program. insert the dvd disc. go to wherever you open files. select the drive with the dvd instead of the C drive. you should see the files. click on one and the program should open it. the program doesn't care if the files are on the C drive, D drive or U drive. it just needs a file with the right format and file extension.

Error message Library not registered
I got the message "Line 25: Library not registered" after uninstalling QuickBooks Pro 2009 and trying to run my old version of QB Pro 2006.
(I had installed 2009 version to upgrade my QB2006 Pro version but got into problems with multicurrency support not being supported in the Canadian QB Pro 2009.)
Fix is VERY easy and I think it applies to anyone trying to run an older version of QB Pro after uninstalling a newer version.
Fix is to find the file "reboot.bat" located in the program files associated with the older QB version.
In my case it was found in "C:/Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks Pro" folder.
Just double click on the file to run it. This file tells the system where parts of the QB program are located including the DLL libraries it needs. After running this file you should be able to run your old QB version OK. No rebooting necessary.

Error message (Run-time error '0')
If you are the one that is installing Active X as a part of a program, then it is safe to continue. It is just a warning so that no one else put in Active X willy nilly. (potential for trojans and the like)
Go ahead and install Active X for QuickBooks, it will be fine.
Hope this helps, please leave rating, thank you

Everytime I open QuickBooks 2007
Have you restarted your computer? If so then it might need to be reinstalled. Just make sure you back up so you dont lose any of your work in quickbooks.

I've upgraded my QP Pro Contractor 2006 to my new
2006 was not designed for operating in Vista. If the data files are not upgrading to Version 2009, it usually indicates data damage in the file. It will probably need to be rebuilt in 2006, then updated.

I have duplicate accounts for Colorado Unemployment Taxes
Are they named the same or is there a 1 or some other variation for the extra account.
You cannot merge payroll items, the only thing that you can do is to make sure you have all employees using the same payroll item, Do a payroll adjustment to move any balances over to the proper payroll item and then make the extra account inactive.
This will take you to one and let you run set up

Need to add additional field on employee timesheet .
There is a notes file that lets you add infor concerning the billing - it might be closed up to where you can only see the N, If you use the single Activity window you will see a nice large area to add info. These single activities will all show up on the weekly time sheet.
