Sometimes the buttons get stuck on the controller, so look out for that. Another possibility is an internal problem, which might require you to take apart the control to see if anything out of order. If all of that is too much trouble though, you may just want to purchase another. PS3 controllers have been fragile for me, so I have needed to just bit the bullet before and just buy a new one.
take it to hmm, Pawnshops and game-based stores here have a disc resurfacing machine, it scraps off the scratched enamel and puts a smooth layer back on or refills scratches anyway costs anywhere from 7-10 bucks Can.
hi,is this also happening with other games? if YES try this steps 1.clear system cache but make sure that there is no disc inside the disc tray (go to my xbox then system settings, then memory, check how many devices you can see,if one highlight the storage device then press the Y button you will see an option for clear system cache select it and when prompted please select yes, don't worry it will not erase any of your profiles and save games) test the game discs if still not the next step is 2. removing of the the hard drive (if you are using the original xbox the hard drive can be found at the top of the console when you positioned it upright, but if you are using Xbox 360S,positioned your console like a DVD player on the right side of it check for grill that is different push it then pull you will see a ribbon that ribbon is attached to the hard drive pull it NOTE:some xbox360s does'nt comes with a hard drive) once the harddrive is remove try the game discs again if it works this means that your hard drive cannot be detected by the console, try again playing the game with the hard drive(reattach the harddrive to the console)make sure you hear the clicking sound,if it works then it only means that the hard drive is not properly placed. but if not the hard drive failes.check if the console is still under warranty so that microsoft can replace it,but if everything fails do the next step 3.make sure that there are no memory units or USB/thumb drive attached to the console and this the game disc 4.check the region code of the game or if the game works before with your console,if you have other console try the game disc with the other console if it works,i hate to say but you have to send your console for repair, contact microsoft for repair
if you are talking about a disc try using a little bit of deoderant or after shave on a soft cloth and rub in a small circular motion starting at one side and working your way around (see video). dont use too much but if you just use a little bit and rub it properly it should work. if that doesnt work then the disc is scratched at a certain part and cannot be fixed. my method is proven to work if done right. i have had games cleaned by video store cleaners and i have even bought special disc cleaning kits and that and nothing could fix my discs but when i did this method i have had even the dirtiest scratched discs work again. this method works 90% of the time but like i said if this wont fix it nothing will. hope this helps.
That will not solve your issue. EA started to implement an "online authorization code" that without it you can only set up a 7 or 10 day trial ( sorry, for I do not remember for what time duration), so you will need to A. set up a trial and play for 7 days and since its a rental that should suffice, or B. pay 10 dollars I believe and have longer access.
Following on from the PS3 3.50 firmware update today, we have started to
hear of owners having problems logging on to their accounts.
We have heard of PS3 owners who have updated their system complaining
that they cannot sign in, and every time they enter their password are
getting the wrong password message. We have had customers who have two
PSN accounts and cannot log into either of them. They are met with wrong
password message, and even when they use "Forgot your Password" all
that comes up is an error.
Conrad Zimmerman of Destructtoid is reporting that PSN is going to have
some scheduled maintenance today. This could be why users are
complaining of problems logging on to their accounts.
The maintenance is expected to take place during 8 am until 5pm Pacific
time. There will be a lot of users who are at work during this time so
it will not be a problem for them, but for everyone else it will be
somewhat of an annoyance.

One common problem that video game players have all the time are scratched discs. A helpful way around buying a brand new game or a disc scratch remover, is to first: a.) Borrow the same version of the game from a friend OR b.) Rent the same version of the game from a store Now, take the unscratched disc, and install it to your hard drive. And lastly, now you can put in the scratched disc and go to "Game Library", choose the game, and select "Play from Hard drive." The reason this trick works, is because when you play your disc from the hard drive, it uses minimal memory from the disc itself. NOTE: Installing a disc to your hard drive does NOT replace having to put in the game to play it. You still need a copy of the game in order to run it from your hard drive. I believe this is some security feature so people don't go around copying the games and not buying them. Also, I would NOT install the scratched disc to your hard drive, for this will not help your problem at all.
well, in previous ea sports titles, you usually press the R1 button (ps3) at the main menu and it should connect you to the ea servers. Hope this helped.
