Not seeing the harddrive
One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive
Test the leads that attach to your ((hard drive from the motherboard)) or replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your ((motherboard to hard drive))
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope this helps
MY HARD DRIVE WAS COMPLETELY
If your hardrive was COMPLETELY erased, then there is no OS or anything on it.. which then needs to be partitioned, and formatted
Hi, I have an mpc 4000 and somehow I can't get it
Hi - I thought this solution I read earlier may help you out - it was originally posted for another problem:
http://www.fixya.com/support/t519740-akai_mpc_4000_plus
You could set the sample to "one shot" in the trim page or in the Program>KG Mix>Zone page.... it is currently set to "as sample"... i like to use the release to let the sample fade out as long as i like... its a lot diffrent from the old poly mono thing but i like it better overall... hope this is helpfull.
I can't hear any sounds
Have you loaded sounds for the pads from an internal or external storage device? (Such as CD or Internal Hard Drive, if installed) - each time you turn on the power, the programs are cleared so the pads will not make any noise until you load the sounds you want.
Otherwise, it could be related to your speaker setup?
Provide some details on your system setup and whether you are loading programs etc.
My mpc 2000 wont load the boot disk when i insert
replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to hard drive
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ?

Formatting an akai disk
Preformat : By Fix-shad0w
#1
Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
#2
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
#3
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
#4
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
#5
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
#6
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

My Aspire one Lap top sound is not working
Hi, first check in control panel, speekers; to see you sound is set correctly. If so, under control panel go to System, hard ware then device manager and click the + to open your audio device, if there are any problem you will see a yellow ?; right click over audio and try updating your driver.
Hope this helps.
