My smooth cook top is cracked, can I still use the burners?
using a cracked cooktop is highly dangerous. i have seen these cooktops shatter because of people using them with a crack. One shattered so bad that the glass was found all over the kitchen and the ajoining living room.
Please dont use it, for your safety, repair or replaced the unit

The Lock feature doesn't work (Whirlpool Accubake
Hi Stephen, that lock button locks the controls so settings can't be changed or oven started accidentally. Try putting the unit into self clean and see if that locks the door. If not it show an error code on the display telling you if there's a failed component. Give it try hopefully that will do the trick.

A code pops up on my oven e5 f2 what dose that mean
Hello Danny;
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.
F2-E5 - Cancel Key Line Open - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure. Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds. If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.
You have left the last number off your model number. If it is '0':
PART NUMBER: W10114377 Cost: $241.00
If you elect to replace the control board, make sure when you receive the new board in a anti-static gray bag, ground yourself by rubbing your hands on something that is bare steel. Static electricity will knock out a board.
The price provided is from Sears Direct. You can get the same part on E-bay for $110.00.
Rule of Thumb: "If the cost of repair is 1/3 or greater than the original purchase price, then buy new."
You have a older but nice unit.

Almost all electric stoves vent the oven through a hole in either the back right or rear burner. They can get very hot. I am surprised that your control panel is burned. It is only dangerous if you place a combustible over the burner. I have had some people do this and it has melted it. i haven'y heard of a fire from this but it could happen if it was hot enough.

My oven and stove top isn't working at all. If I
I was having this problem and it was because I had tripped the breaker. Reset the breaker (box Inside your home) and try that, However, there is probably an underlying electrical problem that should be fixed asap. I live in an older remodeled mobile home that isn't equipped to handle a lot of appliances going at the same time. Try to make sure you aren't pulling so much power when you use the stove, ex: TV, microwave, oven, stove, all running at the same time.

Kenmore code F1 and broil wont go off
he clock on my STOVE started flashing F1
- You have either a bad ERC (clock) or a bad touch pad.
- Disconnect power to stove
- Gain access to the back of the clock (electronic range control or ERC).
- Unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire apx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide.
- Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on.
- Turn power back on to stove.
- Watch for the F1 and listen for the beep.
- If you get the F1 and beep, replace the ERC.
- If after apx. 30 minutes you do NOT get the F1 and hear the beep, replace the touch pad.NOTE: Some models incorporate the touch pad and the clock as one part.
Here is the part to order. All parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.
